Brilliant - my partner had arranged a meal on board our evening trip. Beautiful food. An a-maz-ing experience. Awesome views. Can't wait to go again.

The locals find this place expensive,so you will not find any line here. The ticket i approx 15 else 25 SD.The view is breath taking once you reach the top.As the cabin moves at an extremely slow speed,no question of suffering from dizzyness.

It looks like a big Farris Wheel, but is call an 'Observation' wheel and from the capsule you are ushered into, you get a pretty grand view of Singapore's most recent developments.
The Flyer moves slowly and a full rotation takes about 30 minutes. From the capsule you get a view of the recently reclaimed land developements, with the Marina Bay Sands hotel dominating the skyline. In the capsule is a brochure pointing out the various landmarks you can see from the capsule. The view of Singapore from up high allows for an appreciation of the landscape and layout of the developing country, and the newly builit attractions such as the second botanical gardens with its towering flower structure.
There's a lot of other things to do where the Flyer is located, there is a show as you walk to the Flyer, old style food stores with someone doing Chinese calligraphy and a garden.

For views of Singapore. Best time to be here is the evening just before the day crosses over to night. In this way you can get the best pictures when there is still light and the night shots to boast of your photography skills and high tech camera.

Take the time to spend the 30 minutes it takes to complete a rotation on the Singapore Flyer. If you have a Singapore Airlines Boarding pass present it for a huge discount. Air-conditioned comfort with a bench seat in the middle of each pod allows ample time to soak up the sights and take some amazing photos. Of course there is the mandatory push to buy a photo that was taken as you boarded but there is no obligation to buy.
