I went to Rosso Vino the first time 2 weeks ago with my husband and was completely wow-ed by the waiter that i decided to return to treat my best friend to dinner as part of my belated birthday gift to her.
Although i made reservations, we were seated at the high table, which would prbly be my fault that i did not specify which sort of table i wanted.
The food was amazing as i remembered. Eggplant done to perfection, linguine was full of crabmeat and the tiramisu spot on.
What was lacking is the spirit of service. Every expat table were greeted by the manager who asked how their food was, wait staff attended to them so quickly and always with a smile on their face. As a paying local customer, you get none of that. It felt as if we were intruding on some secret club. I have dined in many places and have never come across one with staff who are so stuck up.
Never returning - EVER. Will definitely share with my friends and family to spend their money elsewhere.
