Great architecture and a church from Singapores colonial past

Prestine white and looks illuminated at night

No matter what your religion is, or even none at all, I recommend a visit to the church if you are walking past - either for a few minutes of peace and quiet, or to learn about the history of Armenians in Singapore. (And it was the Sarkis brothers, Armenians, who set up the Raffles Hotel!)
Loved the quirky, modern statue of a sitting angel by the entrance! Another example that modern art is everywhere in Singapore.

This church is hidden among the other buildings nearby but is so beautiful. It has a small Chappel and surrounding garden has some statues and sculptures to look at.

What a joy to see it, to be inside, to walk at the garden and talk to local Armenians about its history!

This is the second time I have just dropped into this church as a tourist on my way somewhere else and I recommend to do the same if you are passing by. It is so peaceful. I love the statutes around the church which just add to the atmosphere. It is free so just pop in for a moments reflection and solace.
