Stayed at the hotel with family for 4 nights. We didn't have a choice since the package tour we opted for booked us a room in this terrible hotel. Rooms were old and under maintained. Toilets were water clogged, TV wasn't working properly, rude staff, shower broke down, the bathroom wasn't latchable, horrible stale and smelly breakfast.

Most of the hotels in Singapore are expensive, this hotel is located in a strategic location amidst the hustling neighborhood of Bugis and reasonably priced. Bras Basah MRT station and the famous Albert Centre food court are only a short walk distance. We booked a triple room via Agoda and the room we got came with a queen-sized bed and a single sofa bed. The room is overall in a satisfactory condition and stocked with necessary amenities. The only negative aspect of this room is the carpet spanning the entire room is pretty much worn out and noticeably stained. A new carpet is needed as it a centerpiece of the room's aesthetic.
Stayed here for two days. Location is good. 150 meters from bras basah MRT. Also Singapore art museum is stone away distance. Reception staff were friendly. Surprised to see other review stating they were racist. But I had pleasant experience.

Cons: less variety for breakfast. Same menu daily. Expensive for such small room.
This hotel is located in a central location, quite near to shopping malls , art museum, national museum and MRT. On the other hand, the cleanliness here is lethargic, plumbing work faulty and no breakfast is provided if you avail even a little discount through booking .com.
My fourth time to stay in this hotel. What I liked about this hotel? Location- very accessible, near MRT stations, bus stops, near Bugis junction, etc. Hotel rates - not too pricey. Staff- excellent and very accommodating.
I stayed at Oxford Hotel with our big group of 28 for tourism from Oct. 31-Nov. 4.
The rooms were clean even if the hotel is not new. Upon request, the rooms were diligently cleaned and linens and sheets replaced. The hotel staff were also accommodating and helpful to our groups' different needs.
The only hitch is that the breakfast buffet practically provided the same menu every day. Not a single item is new each day and no fruit or dessert completes the buffet menu.
