“Little jewel for Vishnu devotees”

Sri Krishnan Temple
Reviewed 3 May 2017

Take a copy of your Bhagavat Gita and wear a nice fresh cotton sari or dhoti to this beautiful temple. It has the best marble statues and sculptures of Narasimha and MahaVisnu adorning the sanctum Santorum of lord Krishna. It also has a standalone Surya Bhagavan vigraham for surya devotees. Andal and her dad are on the temple perimeter. So is Ramanujan - the great Vishnu Saint/scholar. It's the intimacy and beauty of the temple that makes it worth visiting esp for the morning Pujas. Buy a lotus from the vendors outside and say a prayer. It's a very moving experience for devotees seeking peace of mind or a shot of inspiration. Or both.

Very beautiful Hindu temple with taste of culture; in exterior architecture and interior design. Every place and corner of temple you are amazed by statues. It is a holy temple and you have to take off your shoes, In summer's days, the floor is hot.

The place is colorful and exotic. There was some sort of ceremony going on when I was there.

Makes me resolved to go to India in the near future!

This is a very nice Hindu Temple. Construction began in 1870 and there have been several upgrades and improvements over the decades.

We are all able to worship in our own ways and although I don't know much about Hinduism I do respect those who show devotion and respect for deity.
