I have the habit of having afternoon teas at Takashimaya's Royal Copahagen Tea Lounge during my leave. But the tea lounge has since withdrawn it's business from Asia and TWG occupied the location.
TWG has a Renaissance decor with crystal lightings and classical music in the background. I find the furnitures too large for the little restaurant space. Can be a little cramped. Servers are mostly Filipinas with relatively good service quality.
I've tried the high tea as well as Sunday brunch menu - food are general good and unique, with good selection of tea menu and dessert menu. However, it can be pricier than other restaurants.
Do try the scones with tea jelly (instead of the usual strawberry jam) - it's refreshing and not too sweet.
