“Good hotel”

Stayed at the Quincy for two nights, the bathroom had a little bit of mould growing in it, however it was in a good location and well priced for what was included. Staff were friendly enough and the restaurant staff were always great.

This is one of my best hotel stay in Singapore, nice hotel with reasonable price included 3 meals and compliment mini bar , nice location, just not more than 10minutes walk from station and not faraway from shopping area, nice room with great deco, view is not bad, the pool is my favorite!

This is a reasonably priced hotel for its location, comparing to those big names around the area.

The hotel is located behind Paragon, a rather steep walk back to the hotel. A good workout after a heavy meal. Negative point was probably having to pay ERP if you're driving in during peak hours (mon-sat:12-8pm).

Room wise is clean, modern and cosy. My stay was very comfortable. Staff were friendly, but I was a little disappointed when I could not find my pump bottle stopper, which I left in the toilet. The housekeeper might have discard them without realizing it. I called back after midnight, but nothing the hotel could do cuz they have left for the day.

Breakfast was decent, don't expect a huge variety like international buffet at big hotels.

We stopped at this hotel as part of a 4 night stop-over on the way to Europe.

We selected this hotel on the strength of of what we perceived to an awesome bathroom. We don't have a bath at home, and the quality of our room's bathroom is always high on our list of priorities.

We weren't disappointed, as the bathroom is a gem., A giant tub, and a cavernous shower with a glass partition separating it from the rest of the room, allowing you to watch the rather large TV during your morning ablutions.

For those seeking a more private bathroom experience there is a blind that can be manually drawn to prevent the bedroom flooding with light should you wish to use the facilities during the night. Personally, I reckon, considering the calibre of the rest of the hotel, an automated blind or even reverse-polarised glass should have been installed, but hey this would have taken away all the fun of Urinal Roulette. Its pitch dark...but the toilet bowl is down here somewhere!

One thing that struck me as odd though, was there didn't seem to be a speaker system in the bathroom.

Anyway in almost all areas this hotel exceeded our expectations. The Staff were warm, friendly, attentive and professional. The décor was clean, sharp and consistent. The rooms were not huge but well equipped and the beds comfy, although we couldn't get our choice of pillows. The free mini-bar was an excellent idea...and all other hotels should take note. Considering the expense of rooms in hotels at this end of the market, it would hardly eat too deeply into the margins if this was the norm rather than the exception.

The one facet that disappointed though was the food. The dining area is just an extension of the lobby, but we had no issues with that; its just the food selection and quality was poor. Our dinner there was perhaps the worst of our entire vacation, and breakfast was just a lottery with provisions in the buffet running low and out on too many occasions to be considered just unfortunate.

However, with so many other eating options in Singapore this should pose too much of an issue.

The pool area and gym were pleasant areas, and there cant be many more attractive areas to sit and catch up with my work emails than up there using the hotel's wi-fi, And whilst the touch screen on the running machine didn't seem to recognise even the most aggressive of my fingerprints the tech was top of the range and I eventually got a couple of decent workouts. And thus felt I merited the luxury of the gym shower, which was just as good as the one back in my room.

My partner and I stayed at the quincy hotel in July 2012. We paid approximately $200 per night, which was quite expensive but we got a lot of extras with our booking. The hotel is a cute little boutique hotel approximately 5 minutes walk from orchard road. The inside of the room was clean and a good size for the 2 of us. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower and had a glass wall that connected to the rest of the room for a quirky touch. There were blinds that you can pull down too for privacy. In our package we got quite a few extras including pick up from the hotel, every meal included at the hotels restaurant, free minibar (soft drinks, beer, water, chips, muesli bars) and 2 pieces of washing/dry cleaning every day. The restaurant food was nice but beware of the chicken. A taxi back to the airport cost us approximately $20. Overall a good hotel and I would be happy to stay there again.
