Take the Sentosa Bus to Tanjong Beach. This seems to be party central. Lots of people in bathing suits with sunscreen in one hand and a cocktail in the other. There is good food there as well. It's not easy to get in since it's sooooo popular. The beaches are man-made so the sand is a little granular. The ocean water is probably about 30 C. It's very warm, not refreshing, hence the ice cold cocktails.

We walked to Tanjong from where we were staying at the W, about a 5km walk. The beach was lovely and wide although the view is container ships in the harbour wasn’t the best outlook. The beach and others on Sentosa are serviced by the Beach Tram, which we took on the way back & then the B Bus at the Beach Station back to the W.

This is one of the main beach areas on Sentosa Island in Singapore. To reach it, take the bus or the monorail from the Beach Station (near iFly Singapore), and then the free beach shuttle.

The place is okay, with light brown sand and shallow waters. There are rest and shower rooms in the area, a resort with a small swimming pool and a restaurant, a beach volleyball field, etc. The place looks lovely during sunset ... good for pictorials. As to the quality of the water, it's not really that clear and clean. Nothing spectacular about it. Besides, I don't like the view of cargo ships looming in the horizon not too far from the beach area. It makes you ask yourself, "Is the water here clean enough for swimming?"

Peaceful, only a few families on there. Ridiculously clean and well presented. Well maintained and free paddle boards
