Contrary to some reviews here, we found Dos Mestizos to be friendly and satisfactory. It might have been the timing because we went there on the last week of July which is an off peak season. Fewer tourists and restaurant patrons so this gives the crew some time to get their acts right. The cochinillo was good and the paella is prepared superbly though it’s still different from the paella dishes in Malaga, Spain. Cheese baked oysters are fresh and the manchengo that went with the jamon serrano is heavenly. We even ordered some take outs the next day to match our whiskey binge. Oh well, different season, different experiences in Boracay. Just go and get lost with what the island has to offer.
