Been to Boracay many times but this was the first time we dined in a Spanish restaurant. I was with friends who were not too crazy over crabs or lobsters, so in this trip we skipped the noisy talipapa and decided to try Dos Mestizos.
Cozy, good ambience, with interesting wall decors. The service was good.
Ordered Sangria, Callos, Gambas and Paella. Everything was very nice.
Be sure to reserve a table.

Thank you for your review! We appreciate that you decided to try our Spanish food and by the looks of it, you'll be back :) The wall decors and rustic design have stories to it, please feel free to ask us for a small tour so we can tell you the history behind it. Also, thank you for mentioning to reserve a table because we do get busy especially during the weekends! Muchas Gracias, Khayeb!

place is located in one of the small street alleys between the main road and beach front, between stations 2 and 3.

we loved the small tapas bites and seafood paella, as well as the sangria (had 2). particularly enjoyed the live band that was catering to the tourist crowd, singing some old school tunes from our yester-years. staff were extremely warm and hospitable. we tried to buy one of the interesting sangria flasks from the owner/manager, but unfortunately they were not for sale (Hah!)

would come back again when back in Boracay!

I don't usually eat paella but I did here, and it was delicious! The ambience is cozy, the breads were freshly made and the food terrific. The server was Ann and she was very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

The food was great just as the previous reviews mentioned. This was the reason we tried the place out anyway. The service was a bit confusing though. At first, we were attended to eagerly but as they began accommodating more diners we just somehow drifted into the background.

If you want to get your money's worth, try to avoid the dinner rush. When you pay a lot of money for food, you'd naturally expect stellar service. A restaurant can be busy and still be consistent.

Tapas were delicious and the ambiance memorable, but having dined at a lot of Boracay restaurants, this place doesn't stand out that much to us.

Dos Mestizos is one of our favorite "go-to" places at Boracay. Their Paella Valenciana is probably the best paella I have had or at par to my Grandmother's cooking. It's full of seafood and so hearty that a small size is actually good for 3-4 i would think.
Lentejo Con chorizo is my hubby's favorite dish. Just the right saltiness and flavor, ots cooked perfectly and so filling as well.
Baked Oysters, Beef Salpicao and Jamon Croquettas are other tapas that rank high as well in our list. Abd that Leche Flan- smooth as silk and ohhh sooo yummy!
The place has a great ambience with a guitarist that plays amazingly and takes you back to Spain. 5 star! Definitely... and like my hubby always says... a reason by itself to go back to Bora again..
