The resort is located at the 'quieter' end of White Beach which is great and is still only 10-15 minute walk to Station 1 & 2 where more restaurants and stores are located. A daily shuttle van is available to take you to Station 2 but times are limited so keep the schedule with you or take a photo on your phone.

Pools are very nice and were never overly busy or noisy. Very clean and towels were always available along with cold water dispensers near the pools or the beach area.

Breakfast was excellent - buffet style with enormous variety to suit both eastern and western tastes. You can order a variety of eggs when you sit down as well as particular coffees & teas, including iced latte. We stayed for 9 days so the staff got to know us quite well after a while & were extra friendly.

Rooms were spacious and well appointed with a modern feel. ALL bathroom amenities were refreshed every day (cotton tips, shower cap, shaving kit & toothbrush/toothpaste) and free bottled water was supplied too. Late afternoon a small plate of biscuits or cakes were delivered to the room which was a lovely touch and small gifts of postcards or key rings were left when the nightly service/turn down occurred. Everywhere staff were seen cleaning and they were always friendly and smiling.

The experience I most want to emphasise is the medical care. Our 15 yr old son was violently sick with vomiting and diarrhea the first afternoon and evening we arrived. At 1am, after 5 hours of vomiting ( our Imodium and Buscopan didn't work), we phoned reception for a dr. We were told a nurse would be sent shortly. He arrived within 5 minutes! He was knowledgeable, caring and also able to dispense nausea medications. He checked my son's temperature, heart rate and oxygen levels, all of which weren't great given his dehydrated state. He gave instructions on what to do for the next two hours and told us to contact him again if the medication didn't work. He left three medications to be utilised in particular order. They worked!

It was the follow up care that we were most impressed with. The nurse phoned my son (he was in a separate room) three times throughout the next day to see how he was and then a bowl of porridge and plate of fruit was sent free of charge to his room. Two days after, he was tracked down by the duty manager in our room so a total of 4 follow up calls were made to check how he was doing. This was outstanding and needs acknowledgement and thanks.

Room for improvement/suggestions for change · Breakfast - probably could be offered until later. Last call and clean up started about 10am which for holidaygoers is pretty early. A 10.30am-11am conclusion would be far better.

In the 9 days we stayed, there were 3 weddings and another event hosted. These take over the entire upstairs infinity pool area which meant we only got to enjoy the pool area once in 9 days, due to our other activities. There was never any advice to guests, like signs or letters in our room telling us these were coming up. This is standard practice at other resorts we have visited and we have travelled widely. It is courteous to let guests know prior that these areas are inaccessible for a particular period.

The WIFI in our room was OK when we first arrived - but the public areas were very, very slow. This got worse during our stay, both in-room & in the main areas especially when there were events and when The Lind got busier. I realise Boracay general mains power is limited and unreliable but WIFI does need to be improved. We had difficulty monitoring the volcano situation and our flight status as the internet was slow or kept dropping out. This is not really acceptable these days.

Final comment relates to service. Staff are polite and seem eager to please, but the actual service was not always good. Follow up on simple things was often missed and drinks always took ages to arrive. More often than not, our meals arrived before our drinks which was frustrating as it was hot and we needed to drink first! I think they needed more bartenders, not so many serving staff & this would speed up the drink service.

At concierge, we asked for assistance with activities but it was clear, no matter who we approached, that they knew no specifics about what was available and included. A couple of ladies tried to help but their lack of knowledge and not pursuing the 'details' for us was frustrating as they should be able to find this out more simply and quickly than us. For eg. our 2nd last day we hired a private speed boat for 2 hours with White Sands to take us to Aron Magic Island for platform jumping & snorkelling. We were told they would only accept cash but when we got to the White Sands desk @ Station 1, the sign said they accepted credit cards. We were literally sitting at reception waiting for the pickup when the concierge lady came over & said actually, you have to pay separately for the Magic Island entrance fees. This wasn't included in the agreed price my husband had tried to work out with them all morning. We asked how much it would be (we had limited pesos) & she said she didn't know but no more than 100 each. Turned out to be 250 each when we got there so we nearly didn't have enough money. Earlier in our stay we hired a private sailing boat which cost quite a bit and again were told we had to pay the hotel in cash which we thought was very odd. The boat owner told us later on the trip we could have paid with a credit card. In the end we had to make multiple trips to the ATM which cost us over $50AUD in transaction fees when we could have used a credit card with the activity organisers direct. It is important for staff to know this information as I am sure the hotel is receiving a % fee for what is not great advice & travellers expect a resort like The Lind to know and/or find out this detail.
Overall though, I would recommend The Lind.

Room tip: Beach rooms had great views and were spacious but the garden rooms were good too. Whatever room suits your budget will be great.

Dear Caz0112,

Warmest greetings!

First and foremost, thank you for the time you have generously spared to write this objective review. We value the voice of the guest because this gives us fresh insight on the things we do well and the things we need to look into.

As a hotel, we take great pride in a number of things that set The Lind apart from other establishments in Boracay. Thank you for mentioning our location in premier Station 1, an area that is indeed much more laid back and relaxed compared to other parts of White Beach. We are also elated to know how you appreciated our rooms and the fact that the bathroom amenities were refreshed everyday.

Our breakfast buffet is likewise an excellent way to start one's vacation in Boracay as it is a true feast for the senses.

We want to express our appreciation for your keen eye on the quality of service we offered you, in particular, the medical attention given to your child. Your words and insights are truly encouraging.

With regard to your other comments, I will personally talk to the heads of departments to address your observations.

Thank you for recommending us. We do hope to see you back at The Lind Boracay.

Cheers,

Zsolt Siket

The Lind Boracay is the perfect place to stay for a perfect holiday in Boracay.
Located on the quiet section (Station 1) of the famous white beach, it offers all you wish for in a relaxing holiday at the beach, as well as a great team of staff to take care of you during your stay.
It is one of the only hotel on the white beach to offer sun beds on the beach, as well as F&B seating areas on the sand. Since the re-opening of the island, hotels and restaurants are not allowed to setup anything on the beach, and The Lind Boracay is the only hotel to have a small private beach area where the guests can enjoy the full beach experience.
During your stay, you will be well taken care of by a great team of people. From the airport (airport transfer - mini van and boat included), front desk (Mark and colleagues) to F&B (thank you Noriel for taking care of us), you will always feel special.
Overall, we had a great stay The Lind, and we would definitely choose to stay there again on our next holiday in Boracay.

Room tip: Try to have a room on higher floors so you can enjoy the view on the ocean

It was okay. Quiet place. Staff's hospitality isn't so bad. Have enough privacy for the guests. Very nice pool. Breakfast was alright but not much selection of food if you eat there for lunch or dinner. 3.5 would come back

My husband and I visited Boracay as part of our honeymoon, it is both our first time and we booked our accommodations at The Lind.

We were welcomed by the shuttle van from the airport (they were on time). They took us to their office, then offered us water and then we boarded their private ferry boat to then island.
We arrived at the hotel, a staff welcomed us and offered us drinks. Unfortunately, our room was not ready and they are kind enough to have us stay in another room while ours was being prepared.
The hotel has a shuttle to the main town, and the schedule for drop off and pick up times are posted at the reception, and in your hotel room.

We selected the beach view, king size room. Room was spacious, clean, nice smelling and well kept. (We asked to be relocated on our second night as we hear the drainage of the infinity pool during bedtime hours).

The bed, pillows, shams, duvet was comfortable, AC is not loud, it was like central air!

The breakfast was awesome!! Everyday was an adventure.
Service at this hotel is outstanding. They are very keen, very welcoming, and attentive.
The hotel has its own private front beach if you want to sit and relax, the bar is accessible too, and they have security guards to make sure you are safe.

We had dinner once outside the hotel but the rest we enjoyed dining options at the hotel.

The spa was amazing, make sure to book in advance.

Overall it is an excellent resort. We will go back. We felt that what we paid for was worth the value for the money and we had an amazing time. I love how the staff engaged themselves to the guests, the interaction was pleasant.

Well done to the whole team! Congratulations!
Thank you for making our stay an awesome one!

Room tip: if you prefer room facing the beach, ask for the lower level, the higher it is you hear the drainage of the infinity pool overnight.
