I can’t wait to go back to this place! Everything is good... the staff is very welcoming, food is great. The location is a posh area, a bit hard to found as is same area with the apartment. The interior design is my favourite. Thank you to make our stay so pleasant. You thick all my favourite box.

I visited The Dharmawangsa on January 02nd, 2018. I was surprised by the concept that showing the authentic Indonesian but the price was a 5-star (a little bit pricey for me).

I was not welcomed readily (the staffs were busy and I had to find one of the staffs to ask their cake shop which I wanted to see and order). I ordered "Jamu Asam" that was one of traditional drinks in Indonesia which contains herbs and spices for the increasing our digestion and metabolism.

Our trip to the Dharmawangsa was truly magical. The rooms were wonderful, spacious and well appointed. When you walk into the hotel, you are immediately hit with the wonderful smell of fresh jasmine flowers. The restaurant for breakfast offers a mixture of western and Indonesian dishes. Everyone in the hotel, from the front desk managers, to the concierge to the folks in the restaurant are pleasant, helpful and hospitable. If you want a truly wonderful, Indonesian experience, stay at this hotel. Also, it is in a leafy neighborhood, which is a refreshing change from what is the concrete jungle that Jakarta has become.

If you really want to have a nice, relaxed and quiet place to stay in Jakarta which resembles mostly of Indonesian culture, you should consider this hotel.

The architecture and interior design took inspiration from Indonesia/Javanese traditional houses. Although the overall interior and building are modern, but with they blend this traditional/eclectic touch nicely.

The hotel is not big, and the location may a touch too far from CBD/city centre (it's in South Jakarta), but you'll have pleasant stay with great service!
