The buffet here is average! It has all of the classic options and dishes however there is nothing outstanding or mouthwatering. The oysters were inedible - quite pungent and cloudy, the pasta and curry dishes were left for the duration of our time to dry out and the roast was so under-cooked that it nearly ran off my plate. We paid extra to have free-flowing alcohol but spent most of our time flagging the waiters to ask for a top-up. The atmosphere is average, the food is average, the service is average. It is inexpensive but we wont be back.

Rooms are small. I reserved a king size bed but I got two single beds put together. The oyster restaurant on the top floor is excellent.

lets face it, the location is excellent, located at the start of nathan road with excellent views to the Island. The food is truly excellent, and coming from Australia where import of fresh oysters is banned, the international oyster selection was a great novelty. Mains of Salmon and Duck were excellent. Its not cheap, approx USD 400 a couple (with 2 bottles of Mumm) however we felt it was fair value for an excellent night. Be aware however that the service isnt comparable to the food.......the team service employed often leaves you looking around for a waiter to assist you.

When in Hong Kong I always make it a point to visit the Sheraton for the stunning view and the Oysters. This last trip was no exception. They oysters were almost as good as sex and the service excellent as always. The girls who work there are always pretty, professional and attentive. My girlfriend and I enjoyed it very much(she is an HK native). It is pricey, but that is the cost of quality and elegance! Needless to say not only were the oysters perfect, but the Vodka Martinis stunning as well.
