“Amazing Nina!!!”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

We were part of a Group to China & Hong Kong and the best Hotel on our Itinerary had to be the L'Hotel Nina. Simply Brilliant in terms of Exterior, Lobby, Rooms, Breakfast and Service. The Rooms especially had stunning views and the Interiors were amazing. The location is a little disapointing, however the other aspects like service and attention to detail make up for it. The Swimming pool was closed for renovation, however we did not miss the same as it was raining often during our trip. Will definitely recomend this property for all tourist types and will stay here again on my next trip to HKG.

Room Tip: Dont go for the corner rooms as they seem a little smaller in size.

I always stay at L'Hotel Nina et Convention Center when I visit Hong Kong. Yes, the location is a bit far from the city but the expenses are worth it. The hotel is simply perfect!

Room Tip: The Executive Suite - Breathtaking View!

Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff knowledge of english limited which created a few issues for us. Although not close to cbd, the mrt is below the hotel and not far or expensive to use the train service. The pools are fantastic however if the kids are swimming in the indoor pool, the parent/s need to wear their swimmers otherwise you are asked to leave the area and watch the kids from outside the pool area - i was asked to leave the area as i was not wearing my swimmers. The indoor pool is not heated and it was rather cold. Hotel is joined to the shopping complex and the shops are fantastic. Bus loads of tourists in the ffoyer daily and morning and evenings, the lifts are full of the tourists and have to wait some time to get down to the lobby. My only issue was the guests who were inconsiderate of other guests and yelling in the hallways during the early mornings ie 3am. Hotel charges for ice however the provide free drinking water. Ask for pool view rooms as you open thd curtains and view the river and hills which is magnificent at night. Found the beds too hard and our backs ached for days.

Room Tip: Pool view room

I went to Hong Kong with my wife, her family and a friend. ON our way into HK from the airport, we were stunned by the giant structure standing tall outside of Hong Kong. Imagine our surprise when, after getting off the bus, realized that this amazing building was our hotel.

Presentation (4/5)
The rooms were beautiful, and so was the view. The lobby and common areas were kept very clean, but I have to admit the lobby was amazingly packed with people. At any time there seemed to be 20-30 people just hanging out in the lobby, I guess that's just HK though. My one complaint with the room was the shower would leak into the bathroom, meaning the entire bathroom would be wet after using the shower. We had one room that smelled like smoke, but the hotel staff cleaned and aired out the room to improve the smell.

Service (3/5)
The service was very good, the staff would all jump at the chance to help you. That being said, the front desk staff needs to be a little more strict about respecting the queue of people in line- it happened to us a couple of times that we would be at the front desk, and someone else would come in front of us to ask a question or be served and the clerk didn't ask them to wait. A little frustrating.

Room Service/Dining (5/5)
We only ate once in the restaurant but it was very good. The dining room is luxurious and the waiters were fast and friendly.

Location (3/5)
The Location is a little far from central, but with the HK metro system it is pretty easy to get around. There is still a lot of things to do around the hotel, including the CityWalk mall and lots of other local shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: Unless you're afraid of heights, ask for the highest room possible for the best view!

Located in suburb of Hong Kong, this hotel can be easily reached from the airport by taxi or by Airport Express train. The hotel basically caters to groups from Mainland China. So anytime you enter the hotel, the lobby is always crowded with people waiting for their coaches or for the lift.

Hotel has 2 towers, old one & new one. The old one has rooms upto 40 floors & these rooms are small & compact. However the newer rooms in the New building are really good. The twin rooms have queen size beds & a decent shower room. All rooms have 2 bottles of water, electrical kettle with chinese tea.

The breakfast room Cafe Circles serves Chinese Breakfast + some international items like Eggs to Order & Breads. If you are lucky when an Indian Group is staying at the hotel, you may get an Indian Item on the breakfast menu.

Shopping is just next door & there are many shopping malls next to the hotel. There is a 7-11 store just outside the hotel for daily convenience shopping.

Parking is the advantage of the hotel as it can park upto 6-7 coaches at one time & that too in covered parking.

Front Office staff are too mechanical with typical professional look, but helpful. Conceirge is very helpful & you can store your baggage for a fee which is a good option if you are visiting Macau & coming back after a day. In Restaurant staff hardly speak English so a bit difficult to communicate.

Room service is slow considering the tall hotel. Best thing is the skywalk which has glass bottom on the 42nd floor. A must see & to walk on.

For Tourist, the Airport Shuttle bus & Disney coaches do have a pick up from this hotel. MTR station is nearby taking you in 20 mins to TST area of Hong Kong.

Room Tip: Take rooms on higher floor to get great view of Hong Kong Island....
