Very cramp toilet only good for one person at a time. Seems like a budget hotel (motel). Don't expect big and comfortable bed. Hotel is facing container port so you will be greeted with container off-loading sounds till late night. I would say lots of china tourists reside there, and don't be surprised they can shout across corridors even at 6am in the morning. this hotel is relatively far from town, travel time is about 1hour ( consider to and fro u wasted 2hrs. Not advisable to stay if u shop alot in town or intend to go Macau, zhuhai, Shenzhen as u will be too tired to carry your baggage from ferry terminal to mtr bk to this hotel.

The rooms are small but clean and sufficient. However, it's basic and I was glad I brought my own bedroom slippers (the floors are bare tiles & cold); boxed tissue; beverages (only 2 mugs and 2 packs of sugar were given - yes, I had to bring back a disposable spoon for stirring my beverage!) If you are fussy about your toiletries, bring that, too. The hotel only gives a 3-in-1 in a dispenser fixed to the shower wall. However the shower is strong & sufficient.
Locaton-wise? It was far from town/main shopping areas but there are 2 mini buses very near-by which brought me to the 2 closest MTR stations (Tsing Yi or Kwai Fong) in less than 10 minutes - timing of journey is sometimes dependent on passengers' demand and the bus driver will make short detours to earn the extra $. I felt that the money that we could have saved on the rooms were mostly spent on transportation:(
Ambience? - Not much. There were endless flow of tour groups from the Mainland and the members jostled to enter & exit the elevators; shouted alot and generally caused quite a disturbing irritation throughout the hotel. But once in the room, it was nice and quiet.
Facilities? There is a basic shopping floor, with 2 fast-food restaurants, a supermarket, a 7-11 plus a newsagent in the basement. There is also a Japan Home where one can supplement what the hotel doesn't give.
Note: The hotel charges for leaving bags with them. Cost is HK$10 per bag (regardless of size) The Wifi is free but feeble in the lobby area.
Service? Quite ok if you speak/understand Cantonese. A couple of the staff spoke good English and were helpful. The nicest ones were found at the Concierge and the sulkiest were found at the Front Desk.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room is quite small but clean and better than we expected. If you arrive in the hotel before 12 noon (check-in time), you may leave your luggage at the lobby free of charge while you explore the rest of Hong Kong. It is far from the the Tsing Yi MTR station, but there is a bus at the back of the hotel which will take you there. If you're not in a hurry and want to experience the quiet seaside view, you can take a 30-minute walk to the MTR. Since it is a bit far from the major tourist destinations in Hong Kong, be prepared to ride a taxi from the Tsing Yi MTR station to the hotel if you arrive late at night (around HKD26) since the buses going to the hotel are not available 24 hours. We agree that the hotel is a favorite of the mainlanders, and they can be noisy and quite rude and won't line up when taking the lift. We went to the hotel during an off-peak season so we weren't too bothered by the number of people that comes in. The staff are okay and helpful, but didn't smile much. Even if you don't put the sign "make up my room" on the door, they will empty your trash and arrange your bed but they'll keep your all your stuff where you left them. So far, we didn't lose anything. There is a restaurant inside the hotel (Cafe de Coral), food price is reasonable but it's only open until 9 PM, so if you will be staying out after this time, it's better to have your dinner before going back to the hotel because there are no nearby restaurants. But if you don't mind eating instant noodles for dinner, there's always 7-11 (open 24 hours) inside the hotel. An electric kettle is provided in the room, so you can heat water for tea (free), coffee, and noodles anytime. A refrigerator is also provided. There is no free wi-fi in the hotel, if you want it to be available in your room, you have to pay HKD50. When checking out, you may again leave your luggage in the lobby, but this time they will charge you HKD10 per bag. We will probably go back to the hotel the next time we visit Hong Kong.

We booked two rooms at RG for 3 nights. The rooms were small but ok for us cos we all know the hotel rooms are never big in HK anyway. The staff were pretty ok but the way they the hotel is run was not up to expectations. Firstly, we were told by our travel agent that there is complimentary shuttle bus but when I enquired the front desk told us that they are only for guests who booked directly through website or called the hotel direct. I reasoned with them that however we booked, we are still guests of the hotel and asked why the double standard but they could not give me an answer. Then we have to pay for wifi.

The next morning we approached the counter staff to have our 3 travel bags put in store because we were going to Macau for a night and was told that we have to pay HKD10 per bag and then another concierge staff told us that for overnight storage we have to pay HKD20 per bag ! So if we listen to the latter, we would hv paid double and after much clarifications, it down to HKD10...it made us feel very suspicious about the way they handle things there. On our return check in, our room was not cleaned at all, the towels were not changed, the floor not swept... I don't know what to say ...

On our last day, as our plane leaves 8pm we asked to leave our luggages in storage for a few hours. Again we were told we have to pay and after arguing with them, we got it free ! I travel quite a fair bit and never was I told to pay for luggage storage in hotels. This is totally unacceptable. But if anything, the counter staff by the name Way did handle us in a calm manner and deserved to be mentioned. although the way the hotel is run needs lots of improvement.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on high floor because the port is 24 hrs and can be noisy

When create booking, I totally impressed that we will use the swimming pool.
Hotel reservation confirmed "YES", so I had to cancel my booking with Agoda.com and re-book to Rambler directly. But, we were still could not use the swimming pool. They said that the swimming pool belongs to Ramble Rest, stop working today... bla, bla... They lied to me.
The hotel do not have a restaurant, the building have a Chinese restaurant at level 1, but if you are hungry at night there are nothing for you to eat.
Location is very very bad, it is very far from Tsim Sa Tsui, taxi to TST around 150HKD. I recommend you only stay here for your last night in Hong kong, cause this hotel is near to the Airport.
The only value of this hotel is the price and only price.
But next time , I will arrange a hostel in central.

Room Tip: Hic,, a lot of chinese in this hotel.
