“Well located, great service n value for money”

Hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Wanchai station n although it is near the entertainment district, it is nicely tucked away in a quiet section of Wanchai. After my first day at breakfast, the cafe staff remembered my beverage preference for the remaining days of my stay. What a lovely gesture.
It would be good though if the breakfast menu could be varied on a daily basis. That apart, this is definitely great value for money accomodation. The rooms are comfortable n large enough for you to relax in, unlike other HK hotels, unless you are prepared to pay top dollar.

Not quite as enthusiastic as some other reviewers. Stayed in an executive room for six nights during Christmas season. Wan Chai is a pretty sleazy area, but there are plenty of decent bars and restaurants as well. Hotel is close to public transport options (including Star Ferry terminal). The lobby is indeed sleek and sophisticated. Customer service was hit-or-miss; on the one hand, I received absolutely no explanation for ANY of the various hotel amenities (wi-fi and internet, breakfast, gym access, happy hour, etc.) when I checked in... I wouldn't have known about any of these services if I hadn't read the reviews on this site! Other staff members, however, were very helpful and enthusiastic (recommending restaurants off the beaten tourist track, dealing with an unusual billing request, etc.) Room was average. Frankly, I expected a bit more from an "executive suite". Gorgeous designer lamp with an on/off switch held together by duct tape... that sort of thing. Extremely noisy location: zooming traffic on a flyover just outside the window all day and night, and very loud housekeeping staff who seemed to spend most of the morning chatting and smoking in unoccupied rooms! Bathroom was spacious by Hong Kong standards, but a bit moldy. A few nice touches (iPod dock, huge TV, double refrigerator/kitchenette) made up for some of the deficiencies. The best part was happy hour: complimentary wine in the lobby from 6-8 daily! Overall impression is of a slightly above-average business hotel with a swanky designer lobby.

Room Tip: It's a trade-off: rooms facing Fleming Road are noisier, but do have a semi-decent view.

The location is good being 15mins from Causeway, 5mins from the MRT with plenty of small restaurants and bars around.

The rooms are small, yet you expect this from HK. It has everything that you need in the room and more. The internet in the room is slow, unreliable and overpriced. I paid for 3-days....got an hour of reliable internet and then had to negotiate on check-out.

Breakfast was good. Yes, there is a limited selection, but then it is not a huge 5-star hotel. I also liked the idea of having a huge gym as part of the package just 5mins away (I liked the idea only). And another added bonus was the complimentary wine every evening which surprisingly was under subscribed.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the alley are very quiet....however you have a view of more hotel rooms

I have stayed at the Fleming twice, and received excellent service both times. The rooms are not overly fancy, but have all the ammenities a person requires to stay comfortably. The breakfast is quite good, and the location in Wan Chai next to the Chinese consulate is perfect for anyone doing a Chinese visa run. The front office manager Alex, made sure I was able to stay even when my booking days changed and the hotel was full. When I fell sick on my second stay, one of the girls at the front desk even walked me to the nearby clinic (over a block away) and made sure I was comfortable untill I flew home. Amazing!! Unless you are going to pay premium dollar you are not going to get a better hotel in Hong Kong, and I would put this hotel's customer service up against any I have stayed at before in the past. Any hotel.

Not so many hotels in Hong Kong are like this; the service is excellent and the breakfast is great. The executive suite with the best choice as the room is equipped with the kitchenettes and fax machine plus big flat screen TV and obviously complete amenities.

I highly recommend this small hotel to travellers either for business or leisure.
