have you ever stayed on a 5 star hotel?
this is one of the lowest service 5 star hotel..
1) pay so much without breakfast.
2) 50 usd for breakfast per person, child below 3 free.
3) watch movie with money, you have to pay to watch movie. and if you clicked by mistake buy they can not cancel even if you have not watched the movie.
4) they have playbook story for children, but guess what you have to pay for it despite this is part and parcel of the hotel.
5) food we could not eat because only breakfast is 50 usd than how much would it be for lunch and dinner.
6) the location is so far and they do not have even a mini supermarket if you want to buy something. i asked the receptionist is there anywhere near by i can get something.. they are like we are sorry you have to go to town.

I WOULD NEVER ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY HERE.

We reserved one garden view room with double beds at the price of HK$1936/night (normal rate is HK$2420) for 2 nights and HK$2057 for 3rd night as it was a Friday. The rate was attractive for 4 persons in a room. I paid 1800+ for a tiny room in HK island and for 2 rooms, I paid 3600+, which was more expensive than Disneyland Hotel.

Though there is no sea view, we could see Disneyland's fireworks display from our balcony at 8pm nightly.

The décor of the hotel is beautiful and classy, so were the rooms. Felt very magical and good staying at this hotel. Service was very good and prompt and staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus service was frequent and at the end of the Disneyland’s closing, the shuttle buses will be waiting for the hotel guests so literally zero waiting time.

Only minus point was the bed is not really queen sized and not big enough for 2 adults.

Buffet breakfast with Disney characters at Enchanted garden and lunch at the Crystal Lotus with cute dim sums shaped after Disney characters are highly recommended.

It was indeed a MAGICAL and enjoyable stay here!

Room Tip: Stay at a garden view room to see Disneyland fireworks at 8pm

We went to Disneyland Hong Kong for our daughter's birthday and chose to stay at this hotel. Full marks to Disney for paying attention to the smallest of details. We had chosen a sea view room and the view was extremely nice. Shuttle service to the Disneyland Park was The breakfast was the best part of the stay with the Disney characters paying a visit to each and every table. For our daughter, the highlight of the stay was getting to meet the Princess Cinderella character in the hotel lobby.

We stayed 4 nights here as part of our honeymoon. Words really can't describe how beautiful this hotel is! Full of all the details that make Disney such a magical place. I loved looking at the artwork, finding hidden Mickeys, and taking in the old world charm of the place. My husband spent a great deal of time just hanging out in the lobby reading a book, listening to the pianist, and people watching (especially when the princesses were out for greetings).

When we first arrived we were swooped upon by bell staff who took our luggage and delivered to our room when we were checked in. The check in process was straight forward and quick. The cast member was also able to activate our annual passes, which it said needed to be done at the park gates - it did take a little while to organise that.

The room we were checked into was beautiful, and looked out over the garden to the sea (we had booked a garden view room), however the smell was horrific (I hadn't thought to book a non-smoking room). I called to request a room change and within 10 minutes we were being shown to our new room. It had the same beautiful details, and came with a balcony, but overlooking the carpark. Still, we were happy to have the balcony with fresh air. We ended up having a partial view of the fireworks which was obstructed by a tree. The rooms have a subtle Snow White theme, particularly evident in the well appointed bathrooms, complete with 7 dwarf themed toiletries.

We visited Walt's cafe a few times, for breakfast and dinner. Most times we were happy with the service and food, but felt it was a bit expensive for what it was. The butter chicken was the best meal I'd had for a long time. We also had a character breakfast at the Enchanted Garden, which was disappointing. There was a good variety of yummy food, but only 4 characters, and a lot of tables for them to visit. We expected more for the money (and it wasn't just a Disney thing, we felt our character breakfast in Anaheim was much better value for money).

The pool was closed for maintenance while we were there, and it was really too cold for swimming anyway. It looked lovely though, complete with waterslide. The indoor pool looked nice too, but is pretty small. We didn't get a chance to try out the spa or anything. The gardens were beautiful and immaculately kept. It was really nice just walking around checking them out and taking in the sea view. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Disneyland along a beautifully landscaped path with Disney music piped in. We only caught the shuttle a couple of times as we found it crowded and really unnecessary given the proximity of the hotel to the park.

The only complaint I would have about the hotel was a funny scraping noise coming from above us on a couple of nights. I'm not sure what it was, and it wasn't loud, but enough to keep me (a very light sleeper) awake.

Overall, I would say although this hotel is expensive, you get what you pay for, and it's worth every cent if you can afford it!

Room Tip: Make sure you specify non-smoking if you need it
