“Great City Hotel”

I've L600 Premier room in late May.
The hotel's location is in the epicenter of HK's major business district.
Nice & modern design room, but in HK's typical style and size.
The spa is good. Therapist is REMARKABLE (Nicole).
Breakfast at Amber is one of a kind if you're come to HK for business.

Even in the face of a tsunami, MO comes up shining. I spent 10 days at the Landmark MO in Hong Kong. The rooms are tops and service worth of the rating. The hotel is convienently located in Landmark which connects to all of Central.

I love to stay in Landmark when I visit HongKong. They have large hotel rooms, offering luxury accommodations and the hotel sits on a great location for shopping. They also have wonderful dining, Amber on the World's 50 best restaurants.

Talk about Location! The Landmark Oriental is situated in prime spot in Central, connected to the Landmark shopping center, boasting all the brands you can dream of; Dior, Gucci, Tag and Jimmy Choo. It is also easily accessible from both central MTR station and Hong Kong station

The service is impeccable and Heidi and her team make one feel welcome from the minute you step in. Arriving earlier then scheduled I was offered bottled water while check-in was finalized. As the room was not ready so soon, I was then whisked to the spa for a complimentary shower and freshen up as well as offered a complimentary breakfast. Upon arrival Heidi offered the latest specials on suits available, but this was out of our price range at double the nightly rate, to include wi-fi, breakfast, spa treatments and larger suit.

After asking for a lounge I was escorted to a relaxation room in the spa where I was provided a bed to catch up on some missed flight sleep, a much needed commodity for Hong Kong.

Our suit was beautiful boasting 3 tv's and a Nespresso as requested. The King size bed was pure luxury and every detail was seen to in the suit. A jewelry cleaner in the safe, a bath pillow, his and hers raisers, (pink & blue), and of course a turn down service, which is not always followed at hotels. A quaint touch was the fact that the little ceramic dish your nightly chocolates were provided in states on the bottom "honestly acquired from the Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel" I thought this was both humorous and a nice touch.

The one fault, if I can even call it that, is that the bathroom faces a window, and being central there is not much of a view other than skyscrapers. The bedroom is then behind the bathroom, one might find this backwards but this is really being picky for detail, as I am. The large walk in cupboard was marvelous to have, keeping all your luggage out of sight.

Once in the suit the most decadently delicious chocolate ganache awaits you. You may even plug your iPod/ iPhone in to stream your own playlist through the suit.

A late check out was arranged at the flight back to SA leaves at midnight and again once we had checked out, showers were offered to us as well as the service of stowing luggage.

A superb hotel adding to once again an amazing holiday in Hong Kong.

Room Tip: We stayed in the L600 Deluxe suit

We spend 2 nights at the Landmark. The staff were lovely and they couldnt do enough for us. Hidy who checked us in was so friendly, helpful and made us feel really welcome.

The room was really modern, very clean, light and roomy. There are no views to be seen from the windows, but the room was so lovely we didnt really need a view. The first night we were tired from our flight and ordered room service which arrived promptly. The lady who delivered it was very efficient and kindly arranged the table, served the food and opened and poured out drinks. The hotel staff had also provided us with complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! Who needs to go out to a restaurant when you can have first class service in your room. We had a lovely meal and a restful evening.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom contained a huge round bath and a large shower cubicle with a very powerful invigorating shower. There was also a tv which you could watch while relaxing in the bath.

Room service was very good and every time we rang down with a query they coudnt do enough to help us. The staff offered to help us with our sight seeing arrangements, advising on the best places to visit and the easiest route / form of transport to get us there.

On our last day after check out, we were able to use the spa to freshen up, after we had been sight seeing. We only wish we were staying longer to make more use of the spa as it was so relaxing. We relaxed in the bar while waiting for our transfer to the airport, when we went out to the car the staff had already packed our luggage, they wished us a safe journey and we were whisked away. What a wonderful hotel! We had the perfect stay!

Room Tip: We upgrade to larger room with large round bath! Fantastic!
