Where the East meets the West, modern cultures on one side of the Island and step back a hundred yrs on the other side.
Went to Disneyland which was a bit dissappointing, it was very small and crowded, but easy to get to by public transport, if you want to have any rides be prepared to queue for up to an hour every time. Went to the giant budha by public transport as well and it took over an hour but was everything l expected, climbed all the stairs to go to the top and the views were fantastic, had lunch at the monastary which was vegetarian and very good, you are given tea with your meal but you have to buy water. We came back by the cable car and it was scary, such steep descents and it was very windy, you can have a glass bottomed cable car or the standard, l suggest the standard if you are scared of heights and if heights absolutely terrify you this would not be a ride to take. Over all a busy tourist trap but well worth a visit.
