Forget tram to go to the PEAK. If you stay in Kowloon....take a Star ferry to Central and turn right and take bus number 15. No lines, cheap and sit on the left side upstairs. It takes around 40 minutes to get to the PEAK and views of HK are spectacular !!! From the bus. Priceless.

Lovely to visit, nice area, everything was great, view amazing, but the only caveat was the lines were crazy for the trams. Suggest take the tram one way and uber or cab back down.

Well worth doing - pre purchase your tickets or join a group to save queuing - week days aren’t as busy as the weekends

Actually the Victoria Peak is one of the biggest tourist spot of Hongkong. if you are there at the wrong time , itwill be very crowded .There areplenty alternatives without tourist, but there is also no train to reach the peak, so you have to walk ;-)

Hongkong by night is incredible. The view over the city is spectacular, important is to bring food and drinks, as up there everything is expensive.

Hong Kong and its skyline are already impressive as such but if you go to the Peak and take a walk (there is a special walking path) then you will actually see how great this place is: landscape, sea, skyline, nature - 360 degree view.

Head to The Peak for an unbelievable view of Hong Kong (and Kowloon in the distance). Tickets for the terrace (Sky Terrace 428) are HKD 52 (around £5). If you haven’t bought them before you go, make sure you buy them from the first floor of the building you’ll enter to get there. On our most recent trip we made the mistake of going all the way to the top expecting to buy tickets there, then were sent all the way back down again!
You can get the tram to the top which costs HKD 52 per person (around £5), but you have to wait for this and it’s usually cheaper and quicker for a group to head up in a taxi! I’d suggest aiming to get to the top just before sunset. That way you see HK in the daylight, when the sun sets, and when it’s lit up in the dark!

This place becomes MADNESS after 10am on any day.

But catch the first tramcar up and you'll have
- No lines to buy tickets
- No lines to enter the tram
- Nobody but the occasional jogger or dog walker around the peak

Then you can go for a relaxed stroll around the peak and enjoy it as it once was before hordes of tourists descended upon Hong Kong.
