“A bird's eye view of Hong Kong”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2012

The best place to see the 'entire' of Hong Kong! Best visited somewhere near the evening to see the sunset. The air is definitely fresh and cool and the ride up/down the tram is worth while; not every day you'll travel at nearly a 45 degree (or maybe more) incline! There's the Madam Tussauds Wax Museum too, where you can take photos with celebrities (mostly Asian stars) 'live'. Loads of eateries too to fill your tummy whenever it rumbles!

“Class!”

Well worth a trip on the tram up the hill to view Hong Kong from the clouds. Excellent restaurants and shopping. Will be back some day!

“Steep ascent!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2012

I did thus tour as part of an educational trip for work in March 2011. The cablecar is steep, but the view so worth it from the top. Take a jacket, it was very windy when we were there and cold. There are eateries and a Starbucks up the top :)

“A worthwhile experience with a downside”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 August 2012

Its a long queue for the tram unless you get there early. The down side is there are a lot of mainland Chinese tourists who aren't shy about jumping the queue, they are quite rude, pushy, impatient and completely inconsiderate of others and seemingly totally oblivious to their own bad manners and obnoxious behavior, either that or they just don't give a hoot.

The tram ride is interesting with some spectacular views during the ride, but once at the Peak itself is when you truly appreciate the views of Hong Kong, Victoria Harbor and Kowloon from a whole new perspective. There are walking tracks for those who wish to partake, but for me the heat didn't make the effort appealing.

Besides the amazing views there are many shops, food outlets and a nice coffee shop with great views if not good food. There is even a shopping center although understandably small compared to the usual Hong Kong malls.

Despite the downside described, its a very worth while experience and highly recommended.

“Great view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2012

View was breath taking. Wax museum was great. Waiting time was pretty decent. Ji Dan Zai was awesome!

Not much local snacks available up at the top. Encountered some rough and inconsiderate tourists
