“Extraordinary”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2012

Plenty of seating creates an unusually transquil spot in the midst of HK's business centre. Excellent aviary and lakes. Look out for wedding parties, and if you're pecking L16 isnt half bad.

“Loads of fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2012

There's a great fountain where you can duck under to get your photo and people watching is always good fun. The tea museum was interesting (free!) with interesting tea pot designs.

“A pearl among the concrete forest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2012

Hong Kong is a compact and interesting place and this park is a good example. After taking a tram ride (must do), eat at the very nice restaurants and shop at the spacious Pacific Mall, it is an excellent idea to take a walk in the Hong Kong Park next door. The size is big by Hong Kong standard (which one should have some idea when entering his hotel room) and it is compact (like the itinerary of Hong Kong people).

There are nice walks around lily ponds, waterfall, gardens, colonial structure (a teapot museum nice to visit) and probably sights of newly weds taking pictures. Visit the greendhouse and aviary, especially good for the kids. Spend two hours there and then go across the park and take the Peak Tram to the Peak. That is my favourite itinerary for an overseas visitor.

“What a break!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2012

I moved to Hong Kong 15mnths ago. It is the perfect place to let your kids run after a heavy "searh for appartment" day, to relax after an anxious "tests to enter school" day, to see birds from the top of the trees (aviarium), to learn about the many kinds of tea, how are they grown and prepared (museum of tea)... or just to have lunch in this oasis in the middle of a working day at the office!!
