Staying from May 23-26, 2012 with 2 rooms booking. Not a good start with Sheraton Reservation Center as we got confirmed the smoking rooms instead of NON SMOKING Tower Deluxe Harbour View Rooms. Try to contact the hotel reservation but they mentioned fully booked. Got last minute confirm the room requested after e-mail complaining that this prepayment booking were made 1 month in advance and as a SPG member, I cannot accept.
Very impress for the hotel location and facilities offer for tower rooms. Twin room, bed is a bit small and the lounge is not much space to move. Compliment on the deluxe breakfast at Oyster wine & bar. Services staff are excellent.

Room Tip: Recommend staying in the tower room for harbour view with Private check in & out.

A dreaful experience. We stayed in a Deluxe Tower Room, how it gets the name Deluxe, I'm not sure. The Room is very small.
The Executive Club in the Towers Lounge is a disgrace, run down, dirty and most uncomforatable as well as being way too small for the demand. We didn't checked the Platinum Lounge, but were told it was inferior to the Tower Lounge.
It was the last night of a 3 week business trip, so we decided to lash out on the last night at the Oyster & Wine Bar. The French Wine was superb.
Now for the dinner, my Wife ordered Boston Lobster, which was overcooked, dry and tough. I returned it to the Kitchen and requested the Chef try it, I was told he agreed it was "below par" because the kitchen "was very busy" but it was returned to us. I asked for Crab Claws and asked if they should be steamed, as I noticed they had already been cooked. They were dreadful, and the Maitre'de suggested he had made a mistake by advising they could be steamed. This is meant to be an iconic restaurant-no way. Incidentally, they did compensate us, they didn't charge for our shared desert, wow !!
NEVER AGAIN !

Rooms were clean, but small. We didn't get much of a view as we were facing the wrong direction. Service was good. Concierge was helpful. Buffet Breakfast had a wide variety with great food, and the service was good. Location is great, as there are a lot of shopping and eating joints nearby. Also easy access to the MTR trains.

I stayed at Sheraton May 11-15, 2012. Check in was quick and efficient and the harbour view room nice as always. But some strange things are happening here: being a Starwood Platinum (& lifetime Gold) member I automatically assumed that I have access to the very nice Towers Lounge - Wrong!

The downstairs receptionist me, that Towers floor is run by a "separate company" and they accept only Towers floor customers there and there is nothing the reception can do about it. (well, with extra money they miraculously can put you there - separate company, my [--]). The Platinum customers have now a new lounge on the lower floor - small, dark, no windows and less to offer in all aspects - pathetic.

Strikes me odd, that even first time customers can have access to the Towers Lounge, when the best customers of Starwood (+50 nights/year) are directed to this windowless "pit" where even the staff seems to be depleted...

I really would like to hear the comments of the hotel. If things do not change - goodbye Sheraton Towers HK.

Dear JohnnyboyFinland,

Thank you for taking the time to review.

We truly value our loyal guests and hence we have dedicated the SPG Lounge exclusively for our Platinum members to relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments there. We are sorry that it did not meet with your expectations and please rest assured your comments will be shared with our team for review and future improvements. Our Towers Lounge, however, has been made exclusive for guests staying in our Towers section due to its capacity limit and your understanding is very much appreciated.

And, we would like to share with you that you can now enjoy more exciting privileges with the recent enhancement of SPG Platinum member benefits, include Full Buffet Breakfast at the Cafe, as a token of our appreciation to the members' keen support to Starwood. We hope on your return visit to Hong Kong, that you will give us the opportunity to service you again.

We stayed in many Sheraton hotels, but this was not the best one. Small rooms with a rough sleeper type concrete bed in stead of the promised sweet sleeper. Good location. Good buffet restaurant.
