Convenient with the tram stop just less than a minute walk, so its even more convenient than travelling by MTR.. The airport bus no A11 stop is not far from the hotel, walking distance. All facilities needed were provided.., good english communicating with staffs. And large room for HK with the price ... No breakfast included but the microwave and fridge and water boiler were there!! Convenient stores and small supermarket nearby. Very happy .. Its not very clean (floor) but acceptable for Chinese style..

It located on dry seafood street if you cant stand walking through fishy things its not recommended..

Apartment was nice and large by Hong Kong standards with plenty of storage cupboards. A bit out of the way but 5 min walk to MTR provided access to anywhere on that excellent system. Be sure to buy an Octupus card as it is cheaper and much more convenient than trying to buy tickets every trip.
Handy second hand bookshop not far from the MTR in opposite direction, check out Booksmart on Google. Once you reach street number check down alleyway on left and find small sign about 15ft down.
Definitely value for money, would stay here again.

- The hotel is strategically located. Bus stop and tram stop is just right in front of the hotel.
- A few minutes away from Sheung Wan station.
- Restos and hawkers are nearby.
- Rooms are well maintained and always feel brand new.
- The staff are friendly.

We were back for our usual CNY visit to Hong Kong (which in our case lasts about a month) and booked a week in 60 West as an experiment. I suppose they were in a low period with few visitors but we obtained a super rate for one of the bigger rooms. I see the one customer had a bad experience but we found this establishment (opened in 2011) to be an exceptional value, with most of the facilities in mint condition, with a gym, and we even had a partial view of the harbor (at least until they finish that new building across the street). Depending on the rates available, we would even consider staying here for several weeks next year.
The subway is to the west and you can make a quick walk of it, or just cross over north to the Shuntak Macao Center and take the walkway to IFC and Central, easy.
We didn't hear any noise from other tenants, perhaps because this week there aren't too many.
I like a somewhat firm bed so I was quite happy here.

Room tip: ask for an upper floor

This is one of the most horrible hotel experience we have - we've booked this room for 4 nights during CNY in Hong Kong at 60 West and have to cancel this on the 2nd night. Reasons being:
1/ the room isn't clean - coffee cup has stains, shower is mouldy, corner of quilt cover has old blood stain (though tiny), some old stains in the towers plus, and a "resident" fly in the room
2/ things malfunctioning - some power points & bedside lights are not working
3/ zero privacy - room are completely NOT sound proof - we woke up every morning to a group of other people / cleaners outside chatting outloud to a point that i could hear every word they say
4/ zero security - our room was not closed when we were back the 2nd night - the housekeeping staff didn't close our door after they clean our place. though our stuff seems intact but what if someone walks in??

The only thing I could say was that the hotel staff seems quite nice when I made the complain and they agreed that we could cancel our remaining days of stay and refund the remaining amount to us.
