A great way to get a good view of the city. Very affordable and the same price as taking the MTR from HK Island to Kowloon.

Not to be missed for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Amazingly cheap price and a great way to cross the harbour. Much more fun than a metro train, watching the busy water way.

Basic but nothing to complain about. This in the way to go to get across the water to Hong Kong island when staying at YMCA Salisbury.

This is the best, cheapest Harbour Cruise going. Take the Star Ferry from Central to TST, then enjoy a stroll on the Promenade thing pictures of the world's most awe-inspiring skyline. Then re-board the Star Ferry but this time head to Wan Chai and once again enjoy views from the boat. From Wan Chai you can take a tram or the MTR back to Central.... or anywhere else your heart desires.

It only costs a couple HKD and there are tourist sailings to see the evening light shows.... never done those and unlikely I would pay extra for something that is already so amazing.

Had no problem with ferry. It was fast and offered a nice view. It’s confusing to get around with language barrier but I made it threw. Overall it was great for me.

Budget friendly way to cross from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island. Plus the views of the city are amazing. We had our Octopus Cards so it was convenient.

Very frequent, quick and very cheap (about 25p/30c a crossing).
We used it all the time. Our hotel was in Wan Chai - 5 minutes from the Wan Chai terminal, so it was more convenient for us than maybe some folk, but even so it's such a great way to soak up Hong Kong. And the crew have traditional sailor suits, surely a major plus point :-/

If you’re travelling to / from Kowloon, I’d definitely recommend taking the Star Ferry. It gives you absolutely stunning views! You can book a tour for around £10 or just hop on the ferry like a local which costs HKD 4 / 40p!!!

A 360 degree way to experience the famous Symphony of Lights show from the water. Easy, fun and fantastic photo opportunities! Friendly and helpful staff onboard.
