I think everyone has said all there is to say about this hotel. I loved everything about it. Rooms, service, pool, gym, the smell in the lobby! Great location, many restaurant options for any budget close by, including for breakfast. We particularly liked walking to Starbucks and enjoyed breakfast overlooking the harbour. I can't wait to return to hotel ICON and would recommend everyone stays here when visiting HK!

This hotel came very recommended so we booked a 65 suite.
This is a very good room + the club gives you cocktails everyday afternoon, afternoon tea and brilliant breakfast at the market restaurant (much better than in the club).
The staff is very helpful and give a very good service.

But the hotel does have some problems:
1) The lobby and facilities are not as pampering as you will find at the ritz, mandarin oriental, etc
2) The Spa was good treatment but not good value for money + the relaxation time (which you pay for) was only at the spa lobby and seemed pointless
3) The location is not great. 15mins-20mins walk from Tsim sham Tsui subway station is not very good, the station next to it (hong kong station) is useless for island travel and the hotel shuttle service compensates just a bit.

In conclusion – the ICON is a very good hotel, especially if you take the club room or suite. I would not take it for a regular room with no breakfast.
The harbour view is fantastic and I think much better than rooms facing Kowloon.
It will give very good value for money but still far from being up there with the Ritz, the Mandarin Oriental or any of the high end HONG KONG hotels.

Room tip: take the breakfast and use "the Market" restaurant to have it in (and not the club) - it is one of the best breakfasts i had

funky, not a usual hotel. if you want the standard 5 star razzle dazzle then look elsewhere, but I loved it.
Is a training hotel for local Poly, so there is amix of new and more experienced staff.
decor is great, love the lobby area and the cafe.
the room (upgraded to a room with a view...worth the $) and the layout and whole "vibe" is awesome, so different. I spend a lot of timein hotels and as this was different I really enjoyed myself.
(note to Langham place looking for innovation, check this place out)

Room tip: go for the room with a view of harbour, a little more but hey!

The service was very nice but once you have checked out, there was nobody whose carry your luggage.
We booked 7 nights, for about 27000HKD, but once we like to stay one more night, in a cheaper room, ( 1815HKD) the service was suddenly less. We don't understand why?

It's a pity, the higher the price the better the service? I don't hope so.

Our expectations were high and they were met for the most part. We stayed in a city view room and it was perfectly adequate. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very functional and the view was great. We landed in HK very early and we were given a pass to a "waiting room" with some freebies and comfortable seats as well as the option to use the facilities to freshen up after a very long flight. The hotel itself is very stylish, modern and sleek. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The one issue we had was with the free shuttle service to Harbour City. The driver was very fixated on where to drop off guests and refused to deviate in the slightest. We were once also ignored a pickup from Harbour City because we weren't at exactly the pickup spot but a few paces away. Both the Market restaurant and the Green restaurant are great. The variety for both breakfast and lunch at the Market restaurant was impressive. We found the location of the hotel perfectly fine in that we don't mind a short walk. The views from the pool area are spectacular. Definitely recommended.

Room tip: Any would be fine as there are great views of the skyline from the pool area.
