Nice free outside entertainment if you're passing, don't expect a masterclass. Display from all ages and draws a decent crowd, this isn't Hollywood choreography but gives you an idea of a much loved past time.

Located in Kowloon Park (Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit A1) this is a demonstration of martial arts held every Sunday from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

Largely filled by groups of old people performing slow and tedious tai chi forms. The tourism board should try and inject some excitement into the evnt by having some harder styles of kung fu such as wing chun, choy li fut, hung gar and the like. Boring.

The Kung Fu Corner is an interesting place to be on a sunday afternoon in Hong Kong especially if you are interested in Martial Arts. Perfomers of all ages and different levels demonstrate forms both with and without weapons and dragon dancing. And best of all: It is free!

There is no shadow or protection from the sun so it might get very warm. Bring both sunblock and something to drink.

The Kung Fu Corner is interesting if you are in Hong Kong for a week or so and find yourself in the TST area, bored on a Sunday afternoon. The martial arts demonstrations, mostly by locals are nice but probably won't make your top ten memories of Hong Kong. However, if you really want to see the traditional lion dance - a particular speciality of Hong Kong, especially for Chinese New Year celebration, this is a place you can do that between 2.30-4.30pm on Sundays. For that reason, this can be a nice little visit!

We won't recommend this sight over the more important places to visit in Hong Kong if you are coming for a short 3-4 day trip. However, if you are here a week or longer, you might want to consider fitting the Kung Fu Corner and Kowloon park into your Sunday schedule, especially if you want to see a Lion or Dragon style dance.
