This place wont't be very crowded and loud. We had ordered a 6-person lunch set and add on some other dim sums and dishes. I love the dessert most, red bean hot cakes and green bean sweet soup are also nice to have :)

Delicious food, efficient service, but here's the icing on the cake. We ordered a Hangzhou Style Fried Noodles among other things and asked them not to put any meat in it because one of us was vegetarian. When our food arrived, the waitress who took our order came over to our table before we started eating and prodded through the noodles with a pair of chopsticks to make sure it was completely vegetarian. This was a touch of class if I ever saw one. This has "never" happened to me in any Chinese restaurant in over 20 years in Hong Kong. Most restaurants don't bother to check if the kitchen has taken good care of vegetarian customers and we have often come to grief. Well done indeed. Fully deserving of one Michelin Star just for this. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended. The restaurant decor is old and dated, but this is entirely tolerable.

All dishes we tried are very delicious that include the cold dish appetizers, main courses and desserts. Fish head is my most favorite dish. It is reasonably priced in Hong Kong Island. This restaurant serves traditional Hangzhou cuisine and is quite famous. Reservation is a must. You may find lots of celebrity photos on the wall.

Hangzhou Restaurant is well-known in Hong Kong for its authentic Hangzhou food. It has stood the test of time and kept its high standard. Hangzhou, whose position in Chinese history and culture is comparable to Kyoto in Japan, is known for its flavourful food which is similar but different from the Shanghai cuisine. It's sweet, delicate and emphases on preparation and freshness of the ingredients. This place is frequent by socialites but its staff are friendly and equal to everyone. The restaurant, like all those in downtown HK, is tight and cramped by western standard.

Once Michelin restaurant dated back to 2011 but the food quality continues to be fascinating. Authentic shanghai food with good prices, in particular for lunch. You will find many photos of the celebrities with the chef! So this restaurant attracts many politician and celebrities have dinner here.
