In a span of 6days, we dined at Dadong Roast Duck 3 times. The duck is oh so good, not as fatty under the skin like some other Peking duck that we’ve had. Restaurant is clean and menu is in English. We ordered a grilled cauliflower dish (request for non spicy version) which is highly recommended if you are dining there. Dessert and fruit is complimentary with dinner.

The highlight of the meal was the crispy duck skin. Their roasting method burns off a great deal of the fat so that you are left mostly with just the skin and meat. The meat is okay but the skin was fantastic. I am use to duck meat being more seasoned. The service was very prompt and attentive. We also tried Quanjude and had a better experience at Dadong.

The doctor was OK. One thing you don’t go to China for is the food. So having this doc was was OK. Now saying that there are a lot of places like Burger King and McDonald’s

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at DaDong which was highly recommended for its Peking Duck. The duck was delicious especially with the accompanying condiments. While communicating with the waitstaff was challenging, we all managed and they quickly stepped in to help with the pancake/duck assembly. The rest of the dishes were excellent. The menu is large but pictures throughout so easy to order. Nice ambiance and very close to our hotel. Definitely recommend it

We were taken to this excellent restaurant for lunch by our tour guide, Susie, of China Highlights and it was the culinary highlight of our trip. The restaurant is famous for its superb Peking duck and justifiably so. The three of us shared half a duck, which was very tasty, especially the crispy skin. Not only that, but the whole performance of artistically cutting and plating the duck at our table was an experience worth watching. Judging by the impressive illustrated menu, there are certainly many other dishes worth going back for!
