I stopped here with my tour group on our way to the Great Wall. It was somewhat interesting and nice to get out of the van and walk around to learn a little about the history. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this place, but it was interesting as part of the tour. It wasn't overly crowded and our guide was knowledgeable about the history of the Ming Tombs. They do have public bathrooms available if anyone needs one.

This was ok. There is a beautiful park and this is very well maintained. It’s interesting history. The tombs itself have been burned a few times and recreated. It was helpful for us to have a guide to understand more history.

It was a part of Badaling Great Wall tour. Okay to get out of van, stretch your legs & hear about some history of Emperor.

Visited in mid afternoon after climbing GW wall at Badaling. It was a welcome respite after the crazy crowds at the GW. The area is very mellow and, at 2 pm, there were less than 100 other tourists there.

Not much to see or experience. But it we enjoyed it nonetheless.

Like others, I suggest that you only visit the Ming Tombs in conjunction with GW or other attraction.

I should have read the fine print. The attraction does not include visiting any tombs or anything remotely resembling a tomb. There are some ancient buildings which honoured a number of emperors spread over many hectares. Our guide struggled to get excited about the visit. Unless you are a student of the Ming dynasty, give it a miss.
