Had an amazing suite at this hotel and could not have been happier with the accommodations and level of service. Food was also excellent. Arrived late in the day and they took great care of me with a nice welcome amenity. Would certainly do business at this hotel again.

Has booked a room in advance, also received confirmation letter before arrival. However, upon check in, was told by the reception staff that they had more guests than usual on that day; hence, they had decided to increase the price, and the room rate previously confirmed was considered as invalid. The hotel shows no respect to the rule of game as well as its guests. Being deeply disappointed by their unbelievable business manner!

通过第三方订房网站事先订好的房,却在办理入住时,被酒店前台告知:因为当天住客较多,房价临时上调,原来已经确认的房价,视同无效。作为一个大型国际连锁酒店,居然如此见钱眼开,完全没有合约意识,简直是令人大跌眼镜。这么糟糕的酒店,还真是不多见!

This was our second stay in a 30 day period and the hotel met or exceeded our expectations on almost everything. No request was to big for the staff to handle, all the way to room service. When I compare our room and services I believe this hotel offers an outstanding value. Our room was 1400 sq ft with two bathroom, breakfast included along with some other goodies and use of a car and driver, nice gym at about $600 a day give or take. We also had a 400 RMB credit daily which was worth almost $80. Great people, say hello to the hotel manager Eric and send him Mr. Morton's regards

We had a group staying here in April-May 2016 for two and three weeks. The staff was always very nice and helpful even through the language barriers. We had an event hosted there also with the hotel as a sponsor. The hotel is way on the western side of Beijing, so, it is not close to many tourist sites, with the exception of the Summer Palace, which was more on the western side of the city. Whenever we asked the concierge desk for help on drivers, or walking directions, they were always helpful.

It was great!
I stayed 8 days and 8 nights there and I do love all things from ambience to staff and restaurants. Everything was based on trust and respect. I strongly recommend Shangri-la and its delicious breakfast and hope we came back again...
