“Great Friendly Service and Good Food”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago via mobile

We visited on a Thursday evening around 7pm and were able to be seated immediately. It is on the 8th floor and is most easily accessed via the elevator next to the Tiffany & Co on the ground floor on the west end of the mall. My wife and daughter were actually disappointed as they appear to have manicures for those waiting for a table. We speak a total of 5 phrases of Mandarin but it was not an issue. The menu was very easy to use and the waiter could not have been more patient and helpful. We are hot pot veterans but multiple members of staff were watching us to make sure we didn't kill ourselves. I suspect this place gets a lot of hot pot neophytes and we're ready to explain. The food itself was fresh and well presented. We did a mixed pot of a traditional spicy and mild broth. Both were excellent but the spicy did get pretty intense towards the end. With a couple of meat dishes, lots of veggies and a few beers it was still under 300 rmb for the three of us.

“Enjoyed the Food”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We went here for dinner after spending the morning at Tianenmen and the afternoon at the Forbidden City. The food was excellent and I was surprised at how well the duck came out. We had Peking duck, deep fried mushrooms, grilled shrimp with peanuts and we drank plum juice. The wraps come out with a side dish that has the duck sauce, cucumbers, onions, flower and salt. You place the duck on the wrap, cover it with the side dishes, roll it up and eat it like a mini burrito...Good price, good food and really enjoyed it.

“Great service but food not a hit this time”
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We’ve been to this Haidilao restaurant before and it was such a great place to eat and arguably the nicest staff in China. The food is great and you can get a great meal here. However, our visit this time was around 3pm and thankfully the lines weren’t outrageous. The service was spot on but the food perhaps wasn’t the same quality on this visit. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and take it as an off peak time and it is perhaps great at dinner time but I would advise going at 3pm and just wait in line around dinner time.

“great food and show!”
Reviewed 30 May 2017

Located in the middle of wangfujing, it was inside of a mall. So not very easy to find.
Very good hot pot. Big variety to choose from. Good service. High quality of the ingredients and they have free manicure while you waiting for your table. I didn´t try tough- cause we didnt need to wait for the table.
