I have stayed here quite a few times and for different periods each time, ranging anywhere from 1 to 5 days. I always found the service to be the best, the rooms to be very clean and cosy, the beds to be super comfortable, and the location pretty convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing.

To top off a wonderful journey through China we decided to stay at the Fairmont Beijing, ranked # 1 of Beijing hotels on Tripadvisor.
This outstanding hotel deserves this honour. Not a single moment have we been disappointed.
When you entered the hotel, they addressed you by our names in immaculate English. Immediately we felt welcome and when Xavier brought us to the Gold floor lounge, it was like coming home. The interior is warmly decorated and very cosy. The first thing I usually throw a glance at, is the library. to my astonishment I discovered some books by Youp van 't Hek, my favourite columnist (NRC Handelsblad).

We were immediately offered an excellent cappucino (yes they seemed to know that after a train ride of 5 hours we were in need of a cup of coffee.) We would go back to the Gold Lounge many times a day, for a drink, for afternoon tea, for the happy hour with canapés. Always we were being served with a big smile and a warm-hearted chat.

Right after our arrival we were brought to our suite on the 22nd floor. Again the room whispered 'Welcome!'. Beautiful bouquets of flowers, a welcome card on the desk, a lovely happy birthday wish and a nice small Chinese present., Chinese slippers waiting for you at the door.. it was all there.
But the piece the résistance of the suite definitely was the bathroom, with a window to the room (that can be shut off), an inbuild tv and a futuristic toilet. Go and experience it yourself :)

In the eveving we booked a table for two in The Cut, the upscale restaurant with the young but very creative Canadian Chef Marcus. He came to greet us personally and helped us with the choice of the menu and then he went off to his kitchen again, preparing the meal as we wanted to have it. Heavenly meal with in the end a birthday dessert offered by the chef.

The Willow Stream Spa is wonderful. We did not have any treatment this time, which I regret, but as in all other Fairmont Willow Stream Spas , the service here must be very relaxing.

This hotel offers more than everything a guest can expect in a 5 star property.
But our stay at Fairmont Beijing was made so memorable and unique thanks to the staff working there.
They really made an effort to give us all the support we needed, all the service we could dream of, all the moments of attention you gave us.
Thank you Michael and Tom , and Emily and Apple, and Faisal and Marcus, and Xavier and Nathalie and everybody else who made our stay so memorable.

Welcome Brett, we are convinced that Fairmont Beijing is going to become an even better place when you are there.

We are convinced we chose the best hotel there is in Beijing

Room Tip: Try to upgrade to a gold floor room/suite. The benefits were worth it.

I spent a month in Beijing for work and stayed in three hotels, the Fairmont, Opposite House and the Grand Millennium. The Fairmont easily had the best service.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent english. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen in a hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Simply the best hotel in China. Rooms, facilities, restaurants and staff are all top notch. Location is not great for strolling around during the day or at night but is within a short walk to the Silk market and Metro station. recommend the local delicacy Peking Duck in the Lunar 8 restaurant.

This hotel is superb. The room was big with all the amenities that your would expect from a five star hotel. Having stayed at the Fairmont Dubai previously this hotel also delivers the famous Fairmont experience. Good variety at the breakfast in Lunar 8. All the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Wi-fi is complementary for Fairmont President's Club members. Would stay here again.
