What more can we add that hasn't been said already!!

We (family of four, two children aged 13 and 11) went for a three week holiday, having a week around the pool then a four day safari, returning to the hotel for the remainder of our stay.

Hotel Voyager is a great place to stay, staff are extremely friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them, you are made to feel very welcome. The Animation team go out of their way to make your stay fun and they are brilliant with the children. If anyone is going out there please say hello to Ben Juma in hotel reservations (from the Mills Family.)

The superior rooms are some what larger than the standard and are well worth the extra. They include tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a fridge.

Safari - we booked that by email before we went, through one of the local safari companies - Around and about Africa Safaris Ltd. We throughly enjoyed the safari and would recommend the company to anyone thinking of taking a safari. The itineray was emailed to us before departure and on the day of arrival at the Voyager, we had arranged to meet with Amos to discuss minor details and to make payment. We did Tsavo East, West and Amboseli and saw the big five and many more. We also had a safari vehicle of our own with a guide and driver which was a plus as we could vary the day to suit us. The prices were alot cheaper than the travel agents and also you did not have to check out of your hotel room whilst away on safari.

Email [--]. Owners name Amos Wanju.

I would to add that a few couples we met did book safaris through the beach boys only to be told the day before departure that as they were unable to find any other people to go on safari with them the price would have to be increased.

Not much more we can add other than we throughly enjoyed Kenya and can't wait to go back next year and will most definately be staying at the Voyager and using Amos for our safari.

We have just returned from staying for 2 weeks at the Voyager Resort.

The hotel is fantastic and the staff could not do enough to ensure that you have a great holiday. We would advise that you check the status of the refurbishment works. We gained confirmation in writing from our tour operator that all works we complete but far from it. Whilst we were there a whole block was taken out for refurbishment and we had to move rooms.

There was a constant background noise of building works around all of the pool areas.

The variety of food is amazing.

Beware of your perceptions about all inclusive as a lot of things are extra, and all international drinks are charged for at in excess of UK prices.

Make sure that you go on safari. We booked through a local operator, DM Tours at Diani beach. They we excellent, only 4/5 people in each vehicle (all 4 wheel drives which you definately need).

Overall had a great time and would highly recommend this resort

i went with a group of six people, on 18th September, upon arrival the hotel was lovely, beautiful gardens and the staff were quick to take us to our rooms. The pool areas were great a choice of three and the buffet resturant was good qualtiy offering vegetarian, cooked pasta, fresh steaks, fish, lamb and the buffet section.
The hotel seems to take responisblilty for its residents cats, they seemed to be neurted and fed at the cat cafe, which we thought was an excellent idea and this also avoided cats begging round tables which i have experience at most Eurpean hotels which if your an animal lover, which i am you end up loosing most of your meals to the cats! ps: Look out for the monkeys in the hotel, great fun to watch!

As we were only there for one week we did a one night safari (2days) Tsavo East, excellent and well worth doing, great lodge looking over a water hole, with a swimming pool and excellent dining. The safari we saw, elephants, lion, warthhogs, gazelle, baboons, girafe, and many more!

The only downside to Kenya was the ridicus check done at the airport. Your understand once you get there! We also went with Firstchoice and was delayed 14 hours.

The hotel its self we would definatly return too, to sum up clean, friendly, good food and facilitys and all this for a reasonable price - Hopefully return in the future!

My friend and I have just returned from the Voyager Beach Hotel. From the moment we arrived and given complimentary cocktails, I was totaly relaxed.
The rooms are great with Mossy nets galore and air conditioning. (opt for a sea view, its worth it)
Although I like a quiet holiday, this place caters for everyone. There are 3 pools, one of which caters for children with entertainment and games. The other two pool are more laid back.
The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you.
The food is not overly exciting, but its the first time I've been on a far-away holiday and not had an upset stomach. So that counts for a lot.
I cant praise the Voyager Beach enough. I loved every minute and recommend you go and stay there as soon as possible.

There is plenty to do outside the hotel, not least a safari. The safari was the fantastic, I cant describe it.
Too see the local area, get a taxi from the hotel and use the same driver, the drivers know all the best places to visit.

Well where do I start. I was looking for a place to book for our honeymoon and after reading several reviews on this hotel and indeed contacting some of the people who wrote the reviews decided on The Voyager Beach Hotel. I do not want to spoil the surprise of the hotel too much only to say that the food was amazing the staff so friendly (especially James at the Sports Bar) and the hotel stunning! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Also if you have time you MUST book a safari as it is one of the most spectacular things I have ever done! I would advise that if you want to see all of the BIG 5 then you will have to go to Tsavo West as we were informed on our arrival at Tsavo East that all the black rhinos had been moved to the West. Not that that mattered to us as we saw so many animals. BEST HOLIDAY EVER!
