A wonderful place to see. The Naboisho Conservancy has the most amazing animals and birds and is close to the Masai Mara reserve so all bases covered. In the Conservancy the number of vehicles at each spotting is limited and time restricted so get to see all the best sightings. You sit on your terrace and watch the animals wandering on the plains below, or they visit you in your tent. Take a day out in the Mara Reserve, watch the sun come up and enjoy a picnic over looking the Mara river with hippos and crocodiles sunning below. The long lines of wildebeests heading for the Serengeti have to be seen. The Lodge offers all comforts, private dining, complimentary laundry, masses of personal space, bar and well stocked fridge. Tipping is expected. Our guide Nixon has incredible eyesight and so we saw an unbelievable number of rare sights including all the big cats. Jodie and David are always available and run the Camp very efficiently.

Dear Jean and Maggie,
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at Ol Seki. We are glad to hear you got stuck in to all the activities we have to offer at the camp and enjoyed your full day in the main reserve.
As you mentioned the Naboisho Conservancy offers a more exclusive game viewing experience so we really do get the best of both so thank you for visiting and helping us keep it this way.
All the best,
The Ol Seki team

We visited Ol Seki in the Naboisho conservancy for our honeymoon- what a fantastic experience! The camp is heavenly- luxury tents with lovely touches including hot water bottles in the evening; dressing gowns and a really comfy bed. The food was delicious; freshly cooked breakfast, three course lunches using fresh local ingredients and tasty four course meals with plenty of wine and Amarulo to wash it down. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.

Our guide was the fantastic Mike. He was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and generally good fun. We saw so many amazing animals in the conservancy including big male lions, little cubs and a pregnant cheetah. Would highly recommend a day trip into the Mara where we were lucky enough to see a wildebeest crossing, a leopard in a tree and a lioness in a tree!

Thanks to Jody for being a great host and to David for his excellent lion impression which meant we could listen out for the Lions when we were in our tents! Mike, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Thanks for putting up with all our questions! We look forward to another visit in the future!

We travelled to Kenya after getting a taste for Safari`s last year with a trip to South Africa. The travel agent advised us to go for a conservancy as opposed to the Mara itself,as in the Conservancy`s only a maximum of 4 vehicles are allowed around the animals at any one time. In the Masai Mara it can be anything up to 30 + vehicles. We were glad that we followed their advice. So it was that we travelled by light aircraft from Nairobi to the Naboisho Mara Conservancy airstrip. We were picked up by our driver Patrick from the Ol Seki camp. On our way into camp Patrick found us a large male Cheetah called Forrester and we had only been on the ground 10 mins.We were put into Chui tent as we are both disabled and it was felt that we would be better served in that part of the camp with less steps for us and a shorter route to the meal area. The tent was spacious and well appointed with 2 double beds a settee and two armchairs. The toilet and Shower were at the rear of the tent. We had lunch on the deck before going out on our first game drive with Patrick who I must say was a fantastic guide who was so knowledgeable regarding the animals and the area we were in. Patrick was our Masai Son as he liked to call himself.
The meals were first class: breakfast was whatever you desired from fruit /Yogourt to a full English, lunch and dinner were four courses and the food was excellent. We had our own chef called Moses our own waiter called William and our own housekeeper called Pamela they were all just a fantastic team and nothing at all was too much trouble. We stayed 4 nights and wish we had booked longer There is something very special about sitting on the bed about to turn in and a male lion is somewhere nearby bellowing, to call his pride out to hunt. All in all we had an amazing time at Ol Seki and can guarrantee we will be back as soon as we can.
I would also like to thank the camp manager Jodie for looking after us so well and making sure that several times a day she came to visit us and check all was well with us.
Could I please ask Jodi if she could please let me have the title and author plus the isbn number (Bottom right hand corner on the back cover) of the book about the building of the Ol Seki camp I have looked all over for the book but can`t locate it.

This was our first safari and we were not too sure what to expect. The experience we had at Ol Seki was amazing! We loved our tent, which was spacious, clean and had great views...we spotted a lot of animals even from our deck!
The food was delicious, but desserts and bread were truly amazing! We also really liked having dinner with the other guests and hear their stories.
The guides were very knowledgeable and thanks to them we spotted so many animals (we just didn't see a rhino, but those are rare to see). We really enjoyed the full day to the Masai Mara and we would recommend it.

Room Tip: We stayed in Nina 1, but I believe all tents have great views.

This was our first safari and what can I say..this place is amazing!! The tent we stayed in was spacious and luxurious with a magnificent view with animals roaming around below us. Pamela, William & our chef made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay! Jody the camp manager is a credit to the company, she makes sure everything runs smoothly and always checks up with you to see how the day is going. Patrick our tour driver was brilliant in every way and very knowledgeable.

A typical day would look like:
morning game drive
Breakfast
Lunch
Evening game drive
Dinner

The game drives are absolutely fantastic and you get to see all different types of wildlife here! (Only thing we didn't get to see was a rhino, which is pretty rare) I would recommend spending a day in the Masai Mara also! This can be arranged by the camp at additional costs.

We could not have chose a better camp to stay in during our honeymoon and would definitely come back in the near future!!

Room Tip: All rooms are a very high quality

Dear Kim and Fran,
Thank you for leaving such a detailed review of your stay with us at Ol Seki and for choosing to celebrate your honeymoon with us. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your first safari! Right from the guides to the kitchen, the entire team will be ecstatic to hear they made your stay so special.
We would completely agree with you that a day in the Maasai Mara Reserve is well worth the visit at this time of the year as this is where the Mara and Talek rivers are; so for those looking to catch a glimpse of a wildebeest crossing this really is a must do! Despite that area being known for higher number of visitors you can then return to the relaxed pace of the conservancy which offers more exclusive game viewing and a number of activities meaning you really get the best of both.
The entire team sends their regards and we hope you come and visit us again soon! All the best, The Ol Seki team.
