We found this to be an excellent location, Good food, relaxed and comfortable. With more trees in the Eastern end of the the Masai Mara we saw Leopard every day, Rhino daily, lots of cats- lion families of up to 14, 3 cheetah together and a lot of other animals. The Camp is away from the Mara River for the Wildebeest crossing but the Game viewing on the way was fantastic. Balloon flights give you a totally different perspective of the Wildebeest trails, warthog holes and animals.

My friend and I stayed 2 nights in the Sarova Mara Camp and was well worth the 80km drive along a bumpy road from the nearest town (the road is being repaired/ improved......). Our tent was quite luxurious compared to what we were expecting, and had all the mod cons such as toilet and shower! it was lovely to be able to hear all the birds singing etc The hotel itself was good, as was the restaurant. The staff were always attentive and really friendly. The location's great, as no sooner we were out of the gate and in the reserve we were soon animal spotting! I'd definitely recommend this hotel

If you are looking to experience the real safari the Sarova Mara Tented Camp is the place to go... My second trip to Africa, this time to visit the beautiful parks and feel the real safari way of life, I've stayed in MARA TENTED CAMP 2 nights, see a lot of people arriving/leaving and all staff always ready to assist and smiling. The food is rich and diverse, all the facilities are clean and cousy, ours was nothing luxury, but that's the magic of the safari! Is a quiet camp, you have many places to rest and enjoy wildlife, example dik-dik (I think) running next to you, playing with each other! The expectations were high but they were fulfilled, didn't miss anything. Next time I will choose SAROVA MARA TENTED CAMP...
Ahsante Sana to all team... You made us a very happy couple!

Room Tip: Rest outside your tents to see the DIK-DIK

We were a little apprehensive about staying at our first tented lodge, but this was 'four seasons' camping. The 'tent' had all the amenities, including plumbing, was located in a paradise of wildlife away from the main area of the camp. The service and food were excellent. I'd recommend to anyone, and don't be put of by 'tent', this is luxurious

Room Tip: do you prefer a walk or peace and quiet. Both are available

This was the 3rd Sarova hotel we stayed in on our honeymoon. It is in a fantastic location and we personally thought that the food selection was excellent!

We were treated really well by the staff, I couldnt fault the service. We were even lucky enough to have our own private candle lit meal which was organised between our travel agent and the hotel which just made our trip!

The only disappointment, which I suppose cant be helped, is that the hotel feels very vast and very "tourist" which took away the magic a bit. It was very busy and our personal tent was not as luxurious as we had hoped. But that is us being very picky.

We found the Sarova chain to be the best hotels in Kenya and would reccommend them to anyone, and the safaris in the Masai are second to none!
