The hotel is located on East back. It flanks the luxor temple. From the roof top restaurant one gets unobstructed aerial view of the luxor temple complex. the temple is just 2 minutes away by walk. Karnak temple is 3 km away. As it was sunny we did not walk, but were assured by the hotel staff that it is only a 15-20 min walk. Luxor museum and mummification museums are both easy walks from the hotel (15 minutes and 5 minutes, respectively).
The hotel itself is ideal for a tourist who intends to use it as a base to cover the many sights. The rooms are extremely clean, prettily done up, and offer the basic necessities. The hotel has an attached Egyptian restaurant which is very good. As a vegetarian, I found numerous options. The hotel and restaurant staff are very very helpful, nice, and kind. The hotel offers much much more than the amount it charges. It's definitely value for money and is an ideal choice for tourists.

Arrived at 6.30 in the morning, they found me a room right away, no extra. The bathroom was very small so next day I got a room with a larger bathroom.
Clean, soft bed, hot water. Putting in new AC. Laundry.
WiFi does not work in the room, but very good in the lobby, the rooftop restaurant and the restaurant just outside.
Very sufficient breakfast.
But if you ask about travel advise, then some cousin pops up, and tries to sell you a trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Nefertiti Hotel in Luxor. (also booked tours through Aladin Tours located at the hotel) We had a room on the top floor with a queen size bed and two twin beds, and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children. Check in was easy, air con in the room worked well, and we had a great dinner on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was decent in the morning. Overall, we had a great stay!

Awesome pocket friendly hotel in Luxor with an amazing roof top restaurant overseeing the Avenue of Sphinxes! Good cosy rooms, this place is a favourite among travellers from across the world! Archaic colourful interior design across the hotel and rooms make it even more lovely. Highlight: Beautiful blue decorated rooftop restaurant and the Al Sahaby Lane restaurant in the alley, both provide the best of the cuisines from Egypt, Continental. Must place to stay in Luxor!! Breakfast is ok though..

I don’t do a lot of reviews unless an establishment merits it, and for the price i paid, the hospitality i received, experience gained, and the smile it puts in my face whenever i recall, now that i’m back here in N.America, like why not?...
I usually stay at corporate hotels on land travels, Cabins with balcony on a cruise ship, 5 stars on All Inclusive etc etc.. But NONE of them can compare the satisfaction and good memories that this family owned hotel had given me. Not even close. ...
Yes it was a bit noisy from 8-12 midnite, but instead of griping,i went out interacted with the locals, who would want to spend their time in a room when there’s a party going on outside anyways? This hotel is one of the prime example of Not judging the book by it’s cover... Its clean it’s safe and it’s very friendly.
