Description: Sapporo, a city in Japan famous for its culinary scene and brewing beverages and fresh seafood was the main inspiration behind “Sapporo Restaurant” the vibrant Japanese restaurant well known for its fresh Sushi menu and teppanyaki choices at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel. Our Famous Sapporo restaurant was the first Japanese restaurant to offer Teppanyaki and Sushi in Egypt back in the 90s, then closed for renovation as part of the hotel extensive renovation in 2011 and now is back with a revamped space to offer daily fresh authentic sushi, teppanyaki and Japanese dishes, fueled by a live DJ performance and a buzzing bar. Sapporo is now headed by the Japanese chef “Komatsu” who also comes from the city of “Sapporo” in Japan. Komatsu joined the Sapporo team in the 90s, which was his first job in a hotel restaurant in Egypt and now he is back again after so many years to where he belongs. Let the Show Begin!

The greatest Teppanyaki experience

It was one unforgettable experience in Sapporro, first time but definitely not the last time. Very delicious food, we went for Teppanyaki set menu, Service and hospitality were more than great. It's expensive but really good value for money. Special thanks to our host Asmaa, our waiter Marina, bartender Fouda and our chefs Mahmoud and Abdelbary. We were even offered a complimentary dessert Japanese cheesecake in the occasion of our anniversary 😀

Best experience ever

The restaurant was amazing vibes and very excellent staff starting from welcoming us by Marina who explained the menus and recommended the best dishes,,going to Mohamed Fouda doing us the best taste of the tropicana drink which took is to another level ,, and taking care of is all the stay .. going to the youngest and master chef mahmoud who made best food show and best food taste ..thank for all lovely staff and best experience that we will definitely repeat. Again

The best Sushi in Cairo.

The best seafood and the best and youngest chef Mahmoud who made the most delicious food and friendly Casper bartender who made a refreshing drink to pair with. I for sure will be back and highly recommend.

Great experience

Chef Karim was very good. The best teppanyaki I had in Egypt. Thank you for this great experience.
