Stayed here for 1 night whilst we visited the pyramids. We booked our room with booking.com who I have always used, highly recommend and never have an issue with. I pre payed this room to get a good rate, when we went to check in we were asked for payment. I explained that we had already paid and showed the receptionist the booking email stating we had paid. This was not good enough and she continued to say we had not paid. So I showed my booking.com app, again she was not happy with this proof. She then said booking.com is not good and they make mistakes therefore we needed to pay. So we had a stale mate of me refusing to pay and reception demanding payment. Then another member of staff looked at the screen and said they have paid - look and pointed at the screen. Oh she said. So after all that fuss we managed to be given our room key only to be given the wrong room type. So had to change rooms etc Not a great start! The hotel is beautiful, lobby is gorgeous and the room is very opulent. Bathroom is great. We had a deluxe room-you could see the Nile if you went to the corner of the room and looked very closely otherwise it was an office block and city view. The pool was nice and warm and waiters helpful. Our whole experience was ruined by the check in and despite how lovely the hotel is, that first impression is what stays with you and sadly this was not positive.

This place is beautiful and the staff was more than willing to accommodate English speaking people. We have the breakfast buffet here 3 days and was the best we had in all two weeks we were in Africa. I felt very safe and well cared for here!

This hotel is in a great location and is quite luxurious. The staff on the FG level were fantastic!!! They could not have done anything more to make us feel welcomed and comfortable, they truly went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. The rooms are spacious and considering all the traffic outside it could not be heard from our room. The spa was great and the food was delicious!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because it smells of cigarettes in all the common areas which is the only let down. Highly recommend this hotel.

My Stay In Fairmont Nile Cairo Was Really A Very Pleasant Experience. The Granted General Services And The Security Measures Were Remarkably Noticed . The Breakfast And Food In General Is Excellent And Offered In A Clean And A Secured Atmosphere.

The hotel needs to be better than this for reall!!! The attitude of the concierge and some of the staff need to be better than this and overall everything is great i will be back again to the same hotel.
