Short review.

Reasonable for bead and breakfast; but nothing fancy.

Staff at the front was welcoming upon check in,

I was wondered why he/she didn't ask for my ID.. who knows I could have been a threat to the hotel?

Room Tip: If your shoulders are wide or you tend to fall of the bed, twin is not recommended since the beds are very narrow....

This is best western premier Guro Hotel. Thank you for your staying with Best Western Premier Guro Hotel. First of all, We glad to hear that you were satisfied with our bed and breakfast. We have been trying to maintain room and develop breakfast menu to meet the requirement. Also, all staff is working hard to achieve guest's satisfaction. When guests check in, we always check guest's passport except repeat guest. because we already have a record of repeat guest, we only get guest name and signature. Once again, we appreciate for your kindness and hopefully see you again in the future. thank you.

We were very pleased with this hotel as it is situated at a location where food and shopping are easily available. The room was well equipped and house-keeping did a good job. There was free wifi at the lobby as well as the room and the signal was strong everywhere. Buffet breakfast was good with a great variety of Eastern and Western spread. But we hope the reception could be more friendly. We stayed for two nights but the personnels at the reception did not wish us good morning when we walked pass. Our tour guide told us that Koreans are not too confident in speaking English but staff in the hospitality business should do better.

The hotel has got nice rooms and is very comfortable to stay in. The beds are clean and fluffy, and in general they're cozy. The weather right now is still a bit cold (being springtime) so as per government regulations, you can't turn on the AC yet until June. Good thing though that the weather is quite nice so opening the window is sufficient.

The bathroom is a great place to relax because it's got a very ambient toilet and shower fixture. They give out nice toiletries to use. This is by far the first hotel I have stayed in with a bidet seat on the toilet, which is why I felt that it was a nice touch. A lot of hotels I've stayed in have nice bathrooms and all, with fancy bathrooms and bidets and all, but this is the first one with a heated toilet seat bidet.

I would say that the location is good and bad at the same time. Bad in the sense that this is quite far away from downtown Seoul and you'd have to take a taxi or train for about 30-45 minutes to get there. But the location is good in the sense that this is at a very nice neighborhood, with a lot of groceries, stores, restaurants nearby. In fact, within the hotel premises there is a Starbucks store. And right beside the Starbucks there is also an Olive Young store (a makeup store). In fairness, I have heard that the train station is near to this hotel so if you have business in nearby areas, this is already a good place to stay in.

In general, since I am more interested in what is in downtown Seoul, I am not sure I will book this hotel again some other time due to the location. However, if I will be in a tour group again and there will be a bus to ferry me to and from the hotel, I really think that this will be a great place to stay.

Great location with a nice view of the area from upper floors. Rooms clean and good size and wifi was excellent. No noise at all from outside. Supermarket (E-Mart) nearby and plenty of restaurants. bars and fast food places. Metro/subway is 5 mins walk and bus stop to airport right outside. Busses to all other areas are a few minutes to the right (down the road) of the hotel. Great area, fantastic hotel with English speaking staff. Recommended.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the top floors with a view!
