Syeada and Jerry are fantastic hosts, and it was great to get to know them and hear their stories about Guyana. They have a beautifully decorated and comfortable place to relax when not exploring the country. The B&B has plenty of spaces to sit and relax with a book, and the breakfast in the morning is always excellent.

This B&B was one of the treasures in Guyana that we experienced over our Spring Vacation. So warm spotless and welcoming. Both Syeada and Jerry are treasures as well. We highly recommend this colorful heaven filled with peace, art, and plants as well as wonderful breakfasts. We made the Rainforest B&B our Guyana headquarters as we traveled to other places in Guyana. This place is a true delight.

Room Tip: corner suite quiet and private

As a Peace Corps Volunteer who lived and worked in Guyana for two years, trust me when I say this is the BEST place to stay. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, but the company is even better. Located in the perfect spot of Georgetown (meaning easy access to local restauraunts, close to the sea wall, and the main highway), you are also lost in a mini jungle. Birds, dogs, flowers, trees, and the perfect hammock spot awaits you. I can’t wait to return and have another incredible stay and a big hug from the two amazing owners that make you feel at home.

The Rainforest B & B is a wonderful place to stay. Syeada and Jerry are gracious hosts accepting guests into their beautifully decorated home full of ethnic artifacts. We were shown great hospitality, the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I would recommend their B & B to anyone looking for peace and quiet with people who care so much about the country.

The Rainforest B&B is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Georgetown. The moment we walked through the gates, we couldn't help but fall in love with the grounds and the home itself. The gardens are even more beautiful in person, and the home is kept very clean. Although the owners have dogs, there is no sign or scent of this unless you see the dogs themselves (they are adorable). I found my room to be quite comfortable and well appointed. Our host, Syeada, was warm and welcoming and made our stay a truly exceptional one. Syeada exceeded all of my expectations, and showed extremely generous hospitality. She was patient, personable, and a really good sport. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a picturesque, comfortable escape in Guyana.
