Hard to find, and on a one way road so if your taxi driver drives towards it in a certain direction they'll have to double back and go around again to enter the road the right way.

Staff are very helpful and nice, but the lady behind the counter when I arrived tried to charge me the VAT fee when I didn't actually have to pay.

Location isn't great - it claims it's near the city centre but there's not much in either direction on the main road it's near. A few restaurants and that's it, no bars or clubs. You're better off staying in La Candaleria where it's much busier. Rooms are small but sufficient, okay if you're staying a night or two but that's it.

The staff girls don't have any idea of how to run a hotel and don't even care about their personal presentation. They have facial piercings and all. I reported a sink leakage and they didn't care, an they got very pushy about the checkout time. They only know how to annoy the guests. Rooms are not noise proof so you can hear a lot of things from the outside. Will never go there again.

Hotel Olimpo Resort is a small boutique hotel located in the Lower Chapinero district, in close proximity to many universities and medical schools and clinics.

The neighborhood has much ¨Street Art¨ (also known as graffiti) but is very pretty for the most part.

Walking around the neighborhood it reminds me of Berkeley CA. Lots of cheap food nearby, but we only found ONE decent restaurant worthy of our recommendation.

Room prices are inexpensive and sleep quality is excellent by Columbian standards.

My only complaint is the beds are about 2 inches short, and the hotels coffee is awful.

Fortunately, there is Juan Valdez, OMA, and Dunkin Donuts nearby. Panaderia GranOlimpico also has OK coffee.

Room Tip: Room 202 is the quietest, in my opinion.
