Refused to accept our early check in which we had in writing. Safe didn’t lock. Many bulbs missing in ceiling and bedside lamps. Heater did not work. Pillows were lumps of old foam. Room cold and very noisy as no double glazing. The spa is was a joke,, looking like it had not been used in years. The jacuzzi had no water in it. Our free drink on arrival was met with a no, even though our booking clearly showed this. We booked a suite with full kitchen so that as ther website says, ‘make yourself at hone’ If you can cook with 3 plastic spatulas and one glass, not a plate, cutlery or pan in sight, then you are a magician! Our city view room had a view directly into other rooms. I asked for the room we had booked and eventually this was honoured and this review is of the room with a view. Heaven knows what the other would have been like. The breakfast was impossible to fathom as the hotel appeared to share a restaurant with others. Never had coloured water that purported to be juice before. There are lots of cheap hotels in Bogotá and according to price and photos on the website including on Booking.com this is not one of them. I’m afraid this hotel parades itself as something it is not

Basic hotel in a good location. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. If you are looking for a hotel near Candelaria and Monserrat - this is perfect.
Decent breakfast included. Breakfast area is chilly.

Excellent location to view all the main historical areas of the city, Montserrate, Gold Museum, graffiti tour etc.

Feels safe during the day, take a taxi at night. The hotel has an executive taxi service at your disposal to bring you to the airport.

For an older building, it was excellent. We were in room 304 so not sure if all the rooms are as good.

The spa is terrible though, don't bother with a massage as it is a waste of time and money

I came here with my husband and a friend in Sep 2017. We had booked a suite with two rooms, but were led, upon arrival, to a super dated and dirty suite that looked nothing like the photos on the hotel website. It had two "rooms," but one did not have a door! So my friend had no privacy. The couch was disgusting, covered in stains that were so bad it looked like the victim of a decade of frat parties. Bare CFL bulbs screwed into the walls and ceiling gave the room a horrible bluish tint. I wasn't expecting luxury, given the price, but I felt like we had wandered into a brothel by mistake. The wifi password did not work and after calling the front desk and trying to communicate with a staff member who did not speak any English, we realized that the wifi was just broken. It was also freezing cold, and only one space heater had been provided (because there is no central air..!?). To top it off, it was noisy outside (Friday night), and at least one of our party did not sleep much at all. Breakfast the next morning was confusingly in the basement of the shopping plaza the hotel is a part of. Most hotel breakfasts are bad, to be fair, and this was no exception. When we told the front desk about the state of our room and asked to be moved to a different room, the two staff behind the desk exchanged looks, offered no apology whatsoever, and took us to a different room, which, though it was much nicer and was also called a "2 bedroom," had no doors at all! You could lie in one bed and look down a short hallway directly at the second bed. The wifi in this room also did not work, at first, but started working eventually. When we called the front desk that evening to ask for a second space heater, we were told by the same incompetent person that the hotel was "full" and therefore there were no extra space heaters. The hotel was clearly anything but full - there were no people! and for good reason. On the third morning we asked at the front desk for another heater and were told by a different person that it was completely untrue that there were no extras, and received one a short time later. I don't know what this hotel is playing at, but if you're considering staying here because you saw it mentioned in the NYTimes 36 hours in Bogota article, like I did, and thought it looked like a nice place judging from the pictures on the hotel website, like I did, think again! This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and there are so many other places (and nicer areas!) to stay in Bogota for a similar price.

Well situated in the heart of the Candelaria district in Bogota. Major attractions are all within 10 minute walking distance. Not a tonne of restaurants nearby though. Quiet neighbourhood after 6pm.

Clean and large apartment units. Fantastic breakfast in the morning.

The only issue we had was the airport shuttle was very late picking us up at the airport upon arrival and the driver was late to take us to the airport. He also spoke no English.
