This is a lovely hotel although it is geared for the business market rather than holidays. The hotel has a number of restaurants, Citrus restaurant do wonderful breakfasts and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I found Sevilo's less friendly but the food was still good. I didn't try the others. The rooms are spacious and we had a lovely view over the corniche. I was disappointed there are no balconies. The gym is cool and airy but the pool is a bit of a disappointment. It is attractive enough, set on a terrace but it is rather small and there are no guards. The sides could do with a clean also. There are lots of building sites and roadworks in Abu Dhabi, I'm sure it will look great when it is done, but bits of building material, polystyrene etc, from a site nearby kept landing in the pool. The staff kept coming out to fish them out, but it was off putting. August is not a good time of year to go, it is silly hot and there had been a dust storm so everything was orange. Also, the sun moves behind the building about 2pm but it is still roasting hot. If you are not bothered about sunbathing or swimming, then this is a great hotel.
