No other stand alone restaurant in Oman provides food of such quality. The menu is not a mile long, however they do have most of the popular Turkish dishes, ever so nicely tweaked for the international palate !! Whilst their seafood grills are truly special, they really do fantastic kebabs and koftas as well. Their starters are sublime and the idea is to order a mixed one so you get to taste their hummous, mutabel, baba ghanoush besides tabouleh, pickled olives, chiili paste etc. This comes along with a straight- out- of- the wood fired-oven Turkish bread that is out of this world. Follow this with with a plate of their famous rocket (ruccola) salad with pomegranate dressing and seeds. Ask for the dressing separately. If you want to indulge a bit, order their fried calamari. I have rarely had better !! Our favourite mains are the shish kebabs and the oven baked fish in a spicy tomato sauce. They make fantastic fresh non-alcoholic fruit cocktails and one must try their mint and lemon drink. Their dessert line up is not too great but recently they have started serving Arabic sweets which are wicked !!! You have a piece and you are hooked...so we avoid looking in that direction!!!
Its not easy for visitors to find the place. It would be best to give them a call. The nearest land mark would be the Radisson Blu Hotel or the Muscat Pharmacy in Al Khuwair
