Enjoyed hotel but its just a little too quiet. If u were looking for a quiet getaway with the mistress its a glass of champaigne.
Awesome place and service
Highly recommended for peace and tranquility.

We visited Beirut for 4 nights and chose this hotel based on the location of the wedding we were going to attend. The price range was quite reasonable for a 5 star hotel.
The staff was quite accommodating and nice: the expected, not more.
The reception, restaurants, hallways, all looked quite luxurious and well kept.
However the rooms looked quite old, plain, and very smelly.
We were given one room first but it didn't have a king size bed as I had requested in the booking, but had two separate beds. We requested a change right away, and 5 minutes later we got another room. The second room had a smell of dampness. Now, it was late at night after a very long journey (delays from Flydubai) so we didn't complain right away and we stayed for the night assuming the smell will go with the AC. But the next morning I woke up sneezing from the mold and with my nostrils filled with this damp smell.
So we requested a change again. We got a third room which didn't had the same damp feeling but it had a distinct smell of smoking despite it was a non smoking room. They sprayed a lot of deodorant and we thought it was gone, but it wasn't. So for the next days every time we would go in the room we would feel the smell. Once in the room after a little while you didn't feel it so much, so we decided to stay.
The toilets needed heavy renovation: the bath tub in the 3 rooms we visited was worn out. The fixtures where opaque instead of shiny. The cleanliness was ok, but the room had quite an old look and feel. The carpet looked very old. The bathroom door looked like it needed a change as well. I had to ask for a softer newer pillow because mine was old and in the morning I would have a neck pain.
The food we tried was very good, and the breakfast, though it was simple, and mostly arab, it was good.
They didn't have a a pool as far as we could see.
We decided to stick in there because the price was quite reasonable.
But definitely not a 5 star.

However, it is disappointing to read that we did not entirely surpass your anticipations in some areas of our operations during your stay. Although we are delighted to hear that you admired the luxurious atmosphere emitted by the design of the hotel’s interior, enjoyed the delicious food available in our restaurant outlets and the friendly service delivered by our staff members, it is always a source of genuine concern when anything disrupts our guests.

Kindly accept our apologies for the uncharacteristic shortfalls you experienced with the room switches, for your next visit, we highly recommend that you inform our Front Office team about your concerns immediately when an inconvenience arises to settle them accordingly.

This certainly is not the luxurious experience we strive to provide our guests, and rest assured your comments have been shared with the proper areas for future improvement.

Furthermore, despite not having a swimming pool in the property, installations are in the foreseeable future. In parallel, we would like to inform you that you may benefit from our promotional beach entrances to nearby resorts, which include free shuttle services.

We pride ourselves in having an authentic vintage hotel, offering the best high quality services against competitive prices.

Nevertheless, we are continuously developing and evolving our hotel in order to make your next stay with us even more comfortable.

Very friendly staff great location close to every thing in Beirut easzy excess and parking reasonable prices affordable Menes with good choices the rooms are very clean and comfortable areal nice gym to work out

Everything was good as usual except the parking we have to pay $ 11 every day. Should be free for who is staying in the hotel.
Also some room need sound proof specisly which located on the main road..

Furthermore, we wish to inform you that our 24/7 underground parking comes fully equipped with the top of the line monitoring systems and continuous supervision for a fee less than 50% compared to any other 5-star hotel.

Nevertheless, for future bookings, kindly disclose your parking needs in your reservation in order to benefit from the privilege of a parking card package during long stays.

My first time in Lebanon. Good impression of services in this Golden Tulip Hotel. :) Room was very spacious, nice and tidy. Maybe a little bit cold but with open window everything perfect. Recepcionists were very helpful.
