“Clean and excellent oxtail soup”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2012

We have stayed for 4 nights in a grand suit room. The property was very good and clean. The most I like from my room was the outside window that could be open easily, so we could see the people waiting for pray time around Haram. Do not miss the oxtail soup at the Etlalah restaurant.

Room Tip: The grand suit room has a bedroom for driver (completed with a toilet).

We have recently returned from umrah staying at Hilton tower 3 . We had a haram view room and it was lovely. The only thing more would be so that I could see the Kaaba which I could not see we could see gate no1 and around. We had a quad room for a famly of 4 with a small kitchen which had a hob and a sink. We also had 2 bathrooms which was very convenient 1 had a large shower with toilet And bidet with a basin with a mirror fitted all around basin, the only downfall I would say is this toilet didn't flush that well and the water would come right to the top of toilet. We generally used the other toilet as that was just a toilet and fitted basin mirrored all around. We had three single beds with a sofa bed and a sofa next to window of haram view which was nice. We stayed here for 5 nights. If u have the monies it's really worth booking this room. This floor had a ramp which was great for disabled access and the room was spacious. The lifts would get rather busy at salat time and we would have to wait for around 15-20 mins at times especially being on 23rd floor. It had toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, ironing board with iron and a good wardrobe with adequate space for clothing for the family. The cleanliness was adequate could be improved though not as clean as uk hiltons and the room was not hoovered all the time we were there. Generally it was a lovely stay and inshallah would like to have thd opportunity to stay again!!!

Very close to Haram as mentioned by others. Good size rooms with modern facilities. booked a twin suite haram view - two toilets, excellent room service and cleaning. highly recommended.

only problem was noisy neighbours - asian family with very noisy kids running around banging doors, shouting in coridors etc - not the hotels fault, but a real problem.

Also the lack of lifts means you can sometimes be waiting up to 5/7 mins for the lift to come - which means sometimes legging it for salaah if you want to get into the mosque.

Apart from that no issues.

Room Tip: Haram view doesnt mean you get a view of the kaaba - might just be a section of the masjid (although...

I visited makkah in july 2011 to perform umrah with my family. Stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time and as usual my stay was pleasent...Excellent location very near to holy mosque and easily accessible to supermarkets and other shops. staff very helpful and used to clean the room whenever we used to ask them. cooperative management. Will recommend it to everyone.
The only problem i think is the toilets need to be renovated the toilet seat was cracked and the number of lifts need to be increased as after prayers it was very difficult to get to your desired floor.

Room Tip: Dont take room on the higher floor level and get a room without stairs if your travelling with kids...

Stayed here for 7 days - during check in the bathroom had used cig butts, no towels and used soap left and full rubbish bins..
On the 3rd day while praying salaat found an ashtray under the sofa which was also full of used cig butts and chewing gum..

Had to call the housekeeping supervisor twice to look at the matter ..

Overall very unimpressed with the cleanliness and service quality for a world renowned international brand "HILTON"

Suggest look at other hotel options around before booking this property..
