We have stayed three nights in Kempinski Hotel Amman.
Housekeeping staff, not good in English but provided very good services and always very efficient.
Front Office staff, talking local language with colleagues and laughing in front of the non-Arabic speaking guests, which made guests feel quite uncomfortable.
Food & Beverage staff, need training. Picked up the tea spoon on the floor and gave to the guest directly. There is a few stairs to the restaurant, but the staff did not offer any assistance when seeing guests with luggage.

The hotel was not as posh as we had expected from a Kempinski. Nonetheless our room was comfortable and well equipped . The restaurant where we had buffet breakfast and dinner was also satisfactory . The location was also quite convenient as we visited several tourist spots that were not far from the hotel. There was also a money changer close to the hotel.

My friend and I stayed here on our first night in Jordan at the start of a 5 day trip around the country.

It is a nice enough hotel, the rooms are standard size and there was no view from our room expect a construction site. The rooms look a little run down and might need renovation.

The staff are very friendly though and on our way back up before our flight they let us keep our luggage in their storage so we could explore the city for a few hours which was very nice of them.

I would recommend this hotel for 1-2 nights but probably not more than that.

We arrived at the Kempinski quite filthy from hanging out at Wadi Rum. The staff were totally nonchalant about our appearance and efficiently checked us in quickly and with no issues. My husband, who was flying out that evening, was allowed to be a "visitor" in our room until he left for the airport with no issues.

We stayed on the executive level, and the room was quite pleasantly sized. It was very, very clean, had an overabundance of power outlets (THANK YOU! BEST FEATURE!), and had comfortable beds and chairs.

We had one issue with the lights in the bathroom refusing to work, and called the front desk. Maintenance was there within half-an-hour, but the lights were working properly by then (I can't even. I promise they weren't working when we called). Maintenance was very polite and didn't judge us for whatever the issue was.

Breakfast was good enough. There's pretty much nowhere to sit in the dining area where you aren't exposed to smoke. If you have allergy issues with cigarette smoke, visit the pharmacy right across the street as soon as you arrive, as smoke is omnipresent in Jordan.

Security staff when you enter are efficient, but not brusque.

The only issue we had during our two night stay was that when we called to the main desk for a luggage trolley to head to the airport, the trolley never arrived. We hiked all our luggage down ourselves. That particular staff member dropped the ball, but every other staff member we dealt with were incredibly professional and very good at their job.

Every time I have a business trip to Amman, I directly select Kempinski as my destination, not only because of the good services but also due to the excellent staff who make you feel that they are members of your work team.
Starting with the smiley Bayan and Hala at the guest relation with their proactive attitude, also the excellent and professional team at the Reception: Samar, Noura, Mohamed and Rami. Thanks a lot my dear friends and see you again soon.
