I was travelling with my teenage sister and was a bit concerned about safety staying in downtown Amman - but the hotel proved to be safe and the staff were friendly. The hotel arranged for our trip to Jerash and Aljun, and the driver for our trip to the Dead Sea and to Wadi Rum. I was amazed to find out they had room service - didn't expect that for a budget hotel.

Relief! A nice hotel bang in the middle of downtown Amman, steps away from the coliseum and a good 10 minute walk up to the Citadel Hill . It is located between two busy roads, but if you are not fond of noise, heat and smog then stay away from Amman!!! Hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the service was great. They haggled a fantastic price with a driver for us a got 45 dollars less what we had managed. Great outdoor rooftop seating area. If you want a cheap, real and safe place in this crazy city this is a good bet.

Room tip: We satyed on the top floor. Many stairs but had just been renovated...

It is hard to find a hotel room that can fit all five of us without booking two rooms. The bedroom and living room are big enough that we did not feel cramped even though we stayed there for a week. There are two bathrooms. You’ll have a panoramic view of Amman including the Citadel and Roman Amphitheatre on the top floor restaurant where they serve breakfast. The staff was helpful and they helped us locate several nearby restaurants and shops. For an extra charge, they made an arrangement to pick us up at the airport. In terms of cleanliness, wireless Internet access and overall value for the money, I would not hesitate recommending this hotel to other travelers.

Some people may find the bathroom/shower a bit cramped. There is a sewer smell when someone flushes the toilet but it can be minimized by closing the water vents when you are not taking a shower. The hotel is in the center of Amman so some people may find it noisy. The breakfast is pretty basic (coffee, tea, water, toast, cheese, cucumber and tomato) but a cook can prepare an omelet for you at no extra charge. We also found it cheaper to book taxis and tours outside of the hotel because they tend to mark them up a bit (e.g., JD 15 for a taxi to the airport vs. JD 25 for a car or JD 35 for a van; JD 70 vs. JD 110 for Petra).

This is the place to go and to check in should anyone would desire to visit Jordan with a tight budget, without compromising the delight and satisfaction of your stay, complimented with excellent service you hardly can get in an arab community.

The hotel is pretty decent and neat, the food was nice, the view is overwhelming and the staff are courteous, friendly, and accommodating (to name a few: 2 thumbs up to Rafat in reception who is very well verse in English and is helpful->this guys deserves to be promoted; Mohannad Ali - who has been helpful and active in responding to all of our queries communicated via email when we were still in Dubai; special thanks to both the drivers Iyad and Fadi; and to the whole team including the breakfast chef).

This hotel is very accessible to the sites and places you ought to visit here in Jordan, hence you will end up saving more and spending less.

All the best and keep up good work! This is one of the many reasons to boost up tourism in Jordan, even to the wonderful people you would meet in the streets.

Many thanks,
Gilbert & Shirley Cano
