We were looking for a restaurant and I found this on Trip Advisor with good reviews. It turned out to be right around the corner from our apartment on Ben Yehuda near Frishman. The restaurant is in a new boutique hotel, and the decor is very modern and really attractive. It turned out that it is also a very hip place, with a young clientele. First they have a nice selection of wines that go with everything- both Israeli and European. The food is indescribable - at least I can’t describe it. Let’s call it Middle-Eastern, Moroccan Israeli Fusion. The chef has created some amazing dishes. I started with a chopped salad in layers of herbs, yogurt and spices. My wife had a cup of soup. We each then had a different fish dish that you can order with different kinds of rice and vegetables.
We had no room for dessert.
You have to try this restaurant to believe it.

My partner read some very good reviews about this place, so he reserved us places. It's not a big restaurant, actually it's in the lobby of a small boutique hotel in Tel-Aviv, quite tricky to find a place in a short notice.
The place is beautiful. Sat on the bar (we prefer it), got an excellent service and amazing dishes.
Quite pricy, but worth is. Ordered 2 firsts, 1 home bread, 2 mains, 1 desert, 1 big glass of wine (Vitkin - great!) - paid with pleasure 450 NIS, not including tip.

We were a big group of people that came to Mashya for a celebratory dinner. The smartest decision we made was letting them pick the dishes for us. The food that came to our table was suited for our taste, had a huge variety, good for vegetarians and vegans, and left us amazed and insanely full. Service was very kind and thoughtful. This restaurant is quite pricey, but it was worth the hype and the money. Would recommend sitting by the end of the restaurant and watch the cooks in action, it is fascinating!
